Hi, I've got an assembled LCD and digitizer screen for my One X from etradesupply, and I've got the exactly same issue that you had. That was my third screen, and I bought from ETS because my intention was sell my HOX.

First time I've connected the 3 cables and it has worked, and then after turn off and turn on, the screen appeared like "using wrong video driver", some erratic lines, I don't known how to explain it better.

Now screen is completely off, but phone turns on and capacitive buttons works, I can enter in recovery, fastboot even without see (I have another hox, so I can reproduce the steps)

My first, the original screen has gen flex cable (Sharp) I had problems with digitizer, my second I bought from eBay, green flex cable too, cracked on vacation. The third screen has yellow/green flex and I had the described problem, I think it is not 100% compatible. That is my guess.

I will send it back to ets, they will make some tests to verify what happened.

Yeah! Yours is all yellow Flex (AUO) version, you can find it in ebay, for around 60-100 bucks, just be sure to order the right one(yellow flex)

how much was it to repair at factory?
Lucky for me, even tho i changed my screen, htc repair center done the repair for free as it was a mainboard fault so the main board was replaced

they have no backlight conductive path and they are grey and not black!
please have a look at an original screen picture that I took and posted you before, compare the 2 pictures and make your own conclusions!
IMHO etradesupply is just another store selling the chinese crap! At least from the picture I saw and if they correspond to the real product!
I m sorry...
I must disagree. Not only because i'm being paid to either. We sell OEM and high quality aftermarket products. So anytime you see a product that says OEM in front, it will be.

Cheers.

Hi,
I'm thinking of replacing my digitizer/lcd screen and I took a look at the one on etrade.com.
I noticed at the very bottom of the page, they say that it does not include the "distance sensor light". From their description, I think they're talking about the proximity sensor that shuts off the screen when you hold the phone up to your ear (to prevent accidental/unwanted contact).

Have you noticed that your HOX does not shut off the screen when you make a phone call? If so, this is kinda a deal-breaker for me... not sure why an "oem replacement" part would not include the same functionality... To me, this just screams that it is aftermarket and NOT oem...
OEM should mean that it's the same part that HTC uses...

Thanks!
