Statusbar shenanigans

There's probably a way. I've managed to change the look of the status bar and other things by messing with the framework-res.apk, so messing with the XML's might put it down there. I have a Nook Color framework sitting somewhere on my labyrinth of a desktop, so I might be able to compare a few files and make it happen. Next experiment after this one, see what happens when I replace the Nook Touch's framework with one from the Color. Heh. (Sadly, this is my idea of a fun time.
