I would like to contribute as translator for Greek... Just show me how :D

yes gladly

Conntact me via a private message what I should do.

I'm working on making an up to date version with strings from the XJ project (which is kinda outdated, but better than nothing). As soon as all the strings are sorted out we need to figure out a way how to collaborate on the translations so we can keep them up to date...

I thought about using crowdin.net, what do you think guys?

When you reboot your phone, all /data/data which isn't related to system applications is moved to /sd-ext/data and a symlink created to keep everything working.

Try rebooting your phone and see if the App Manager doesn't report more space on Internal Memory.

I can confirm rebooting works and system memory is freed up. When I asked Aternus for a Davlik to SD/ext script I only had 12mb free and after two reboots and a clear davlik cache/repair permissions I now have 96-128mb free. This goes up and down and I would assume it is the /data/data as Aternus says.

Seems great idea. This way, we can help translate in many languages as possible.

how to make it boot a bit faster mate ? it's take me about nearly 5-7 min each time reboot

MIUI roms have always been - in my opinion - faster booting than most other roms, and this one is no exception.
5-7 mins for a reboot is a looong time! Is it the shutting down that takes time, or start up? Do you have a decent microsd card, and are there loads of apps installed? Saving data from card then re-formatting may help, this worked for me when my card started misbehaving.

Peace

Bug report!

Bug report!

I have found an annoying bug...
When you remove battery (while phone is off) all setting are going to default and contacts and email accounts are erased. Theme as well, is set to GB Theme and you can't apply myMIUI theme anymore.

The same happens when you wipe dalvik cache from recovery (I don't remember about the theme in this case)

P.S.: I have 1GB ext4 in my sd

edit: lockscreen aswell goes to GB theme lockscreen

4-way reboot missing

Hi All,
Does anyone have a 4-way reboot zip that works with myMIUI 14 B1 with cLK? I seem to have had it when using v13 but since my update to v14 I have the generic MIUI shutdown options. Otherwise everything looks to be working fine with quick boot and no reset on battery removal.

4-way reboot was removed due to odd issues with MAGLDR. I wouldn't recommend using it...

Will not start / boot with the new kernel

Since Dorimanx 6.3 it will not boot :( .
Tytung r14 starts but it was black after start.
I just install Dorimanx 6.0 and it works.
But why I cant install Dorimanx 7.1A ? :((
It stucks always on GoGoGo.
3 of 10 times it goes to the Dorimanx picture and stuck there

Any Solution ?

I have follow the Instructions: Clean install, Magldr (200/5) by HD2NandToolkit , format SD and I made a 512 MB EXT (0MB Swap) partition by Recovery.

After 4 days of testing I got to say 7.0 is very unstable. I will be reverting to 6.9 in the next release. Got to finish the Multilingual stuff first...

I've noticed that 14 B1 been downloaded more than 4000 times but there is roughly 26 people who said thanks for the efforts.

It would have been nice to hear a some feedback or at least a "thank you"; not to mention a donation for all the efforts... :(

Anyway, have fun!

Flashed 14 b1, couple of hours before (first I replaced kernel files inside ROMs zip with dorinmax kernel 6.9).
It seems everything is running very good, very fast (I think faster than 13 b1) and with no problems so far. :)

Super job. Installed first time for a newbie. Only thing i missed doing was to partition the sd card, but it still works how i need it to. Everything works fine for me. Nice and fast and no unneeded apps. Clean and simple.

Hi Aternus, Thank you!! (I don't have enough posts for a Thank you button)

I have downloaded a few of your roms now, but 14 B1 is definately the best one, fast & smooth as silk. I've had no problems at all over the last few days.
I've been in the background a bit, trying lots of different roms, I think its still a bit early for the ICS roms so I will stay with GB for a while longer, everything just works, for me anyway.

Thanks again and keep up the fantastic work.:D
Kind regards Dennis (Confirmation number: 60917849PC528020M)

myMIUI i18n Project - MIUI Internationalization

The time you all been waiting for has finally come!

    #Information

    Information

    myMIUI IDE© (Internal Data Extension)
PLEASE DON'T USE ANY THIRD PARTY TOOLS!

The ROM includes cutting edge technology to extend your phone's internal memory by using SDCard's EXT partition.
Furthermore, all the great features below been integrated directly into the kernel. No need to worry about security, performance or stability issues.

    Included in myMIUI IDE©:

    1. UNLIMITED INTERNAL MEMORY
    2. UNLIMITED CACHE MEMORY
    3. Legendary myMIUI SCRTM©
    4. Cache2DATA
    5. Apps2EXT
    6. Dalvik2EXT
    7. Data2EXT

What you need to enable myMIUI IDE©:

    1. BACKUP ALL DATA FROM SDCARD
    2. format SDCard
    3. create an EXT2/3/4 partition on your SDCard (recommended: 1GB EXT / 0MB SWAP)
    4. perform a reboot

    How it Works?
When the ROM detects an SDCard with an EXT partition, it will run the SCRTM© routine after which the EXT partition will become your userdata partition (a.k.a. "/data").
This will allow unlimited internal memory for your HTC HD2; performance may be severely degraded with low class SD cards!

    Clean Start
If you ever need a clean start, just switch your SDCard with a clean one and the system will automatically reset itself.

    Users without an EXT partition
Although users without an EXT partition will not see the benefit of myMIUI IDE©, they won't experience any issues whatsoever. The ROM will use the internal NAND memory from their "/data" partition.

Important Note: For IDE© enabled phones; Do not remove your SDCard from your phone while its on. Doing so may cause data corruption and/or OS freeze.

    zipAlign
The ROM speeds up your performance by using a zipAlign routine which will tweak all your applications so that they will run optimally on the Android OS.
The routine uses a database for all the applications which it already tweaked so it won't tweak the same application twice.
If you install a lot of new applications that need tweaking, it might take some time for your phone to boot up; the speed greatly depends on the application size.

What you need to enable zipAlign:

    1. SDCard with at least 100MB of free space
    2. nothing else! everything is done at boot time automatically

    Nexus S ID
The first question you might ask yourself is: "why would I want to spoof my device's identity?"
The answer is simple: Google Play Marketplace downloads.

By default the ROM identifies the device as a "generic HTC HD2" which is the correct way of naming our beloved HTC HD2, although some users might want to change that so that they can install applications that weren't meant to run on HD2.

What you need to spoof your device identity to Nexus S:

    1. Select "Nexus S ID" while installing
    2. nothing else! everything is done automatically

WARNING: If you install an application and it crashes, its because its not compatible/been improperly installed due to the fake device configuration.

Some applications, especially from the Market use the device information to perform different installation routines (figure out SDCard mount points, OpenGL compression methods, etc...), so use at your own risk ;)

    Troubleshooting / Getting Help

In order to provide assistance the following files are required:

    myMIUI v15 B6 is Online!

As always the file will be available in about 45 mins...
