After successful download, RAR says the files are corrupt. TwiceAny chance to get the file from some other sources? Thanks upfront,

When I try to open it with RAR, it says:
! C:\Users\kirev\Downloads\Multitool_V10.3_offline.rar: Corrupt header is found
and when I test the archive it says
! C:\Users\kirev\Downloads\Multitool_V10.3_offline.rar: Checksum error in GBUPDATE\boot.img. The file is corrupt
! C:\Users\kirev\Downloads\Multitool_V10.3_offline.rar: Checksum error in GBUPDATE\cwm-4.0.1.4-express.img. The file is corrupt

I tried it with Chrome and Firefox on Windows 7 and 8.1 on Thinkpad and Latitude... The same
hello guys. got a problem with my evo4g view. it can connect to my laptop only when in sleepmod. Otherwise it's just connect\disconnect all the time
so that's why i can't go adb shell(...), 'couse of it's on and i get next error:

I have an HTC EVO 4G VIEW that has S-ON with an unlocked bootloader. What is the easiest way to root and install a custom rom? I tried many different things including the Revolutionary tool, it says that my HBoot is not supported. I tried getting to this tool, but there's no link. Any advice is appreciated. I am fully aware this is a pretty much dead thread and I may not have any options at rooting at this time.

Hello everybody!
I'd just like to let you all know that my experience with XDA has been wonderful and I find this place very informative and enlightening. One of the biggest problems and inconveniences was trying to find and round up all information and files needed to get something done.
So I present you with a MULTI-PURPOSE TOOL for the EVO VIEW 4G. It combines all necessary files into one location for your convenience.
I got the idea yesterday after literally spending the whole day with globatron trying to figure out what was wrong with my device (had a hardware problem) and got a little tired of having to return to stock about 13 times lol.

For everyone else that’s considering using this tool. This is a great piece of work that significantly simplifies the required steps to accomplish the described goals. Using this tool does not add any more risk to doing these actions as following the steps themselves (actually reduces risk by ensuring important steps are not missed.)
