I am on GB XXJW4 and the GPS is terrible so i tried to find a solution on the net but nothing changed! I also tried all the tricks with 'gpsconf' system file but the GPS locks maximum 2 to 3 satellites!!
I like this ROM very much and my question is if i move to XXJW6 will i have a better GPS?
Please users of this ROM tell me your GPS status

I think the answer to both of these is probably to the ZSJPG modem and applying gps.conf fix if you haven't done it, but not as important as the modem

I'm not suggesting this combo as one thing led to another, but I'm running XWJW6 for a Euro CSC I used OXAJW4 and then I realised I couldn't root it so I plumped for CF-Root-XX_OXA_JW4-v4.4-CWM3RFS.

Since I had CF-Root with CWM I found a ZSJPG modem CWM package. I guess it's practically not much better than JW4 now, but it's a vast improvement on the latest Orange UK branded firmware previously on it.

Is there anyway to root?
