Just wondering... Where did you get your info on that ? Your HD7 and focus besides the display and case is almost like every other Windows Phone 7 device (standard hardware across all models).
.....
first thing hardware is the key. With micro sd slot these two are better of than others without for the promised micro sd support. Then these two have a massive dose of devs working on them.My sources maybe correct or wrong but im 51% sure correct without a fault. No problem should be thrown on the arm processors because Microsoft is working hard on them. And low end windows 8 phones will be like what we've got today. So hope :highfive:

Mod edit: Response removed by request of user.

I understand your anger and frustration, but as I explained.. the moderator already gave his response. The last comment was in July of 2012.. 2 years ago. Although the delivery of the user you quoted wasn't correct, he did bring up a point that happens to be in the forum rules. Search before posting. Numerous posts with the similar question have appeared and have been answered similarly. At the same time, I understand HIS frustration. We see a lot of duplicate questions asking whether you can install Android on WP8/WP7, install WP7/WM6.5 on WP8, and installing WP8 on WP7. Here are some examples:

Again, I'm sorry that you were offended by some of the replies, but know that we're all here to help out.

Absolutely not true. The NT kernel will run on seriously low specs without any issues. It'll happily run on an old pentium 233 and 32MB RAM without any notable issues in performance. In fact,WP7 hardware is sufficient to run full blown Windows 7, not just the NT6 kernel (assuming the processor was x86 and not ARMv7)

I don't se drivers being a huge blocker as the number of drivers for NT6 is huge, and even in the worst case scenario any drivers we may be missing can be written.

It'll be interesting to see how quickly someone gets WP8 running on a WP7 device.

Yes, you can run NT Kernel on low spec, but this is more like try to install windows 8 on a Dreamcast (WinCE)

... Can we (XDA as a whole) implement a 1-month posting ban per year (rounded to the nearest year since the previous post) of thread necromancy, please? That is, under this rule @brndnukka would be blocked from posting here for the next 2 months. (Obviously, this rule would need to be posted in the forum rules section. Would be interesting to see when people fail to read it...)

Well, or we could just lock threads this old. But it might get the message across better if people slapped themselves with an automatic banhammer for poor behavior...

There's plenty I could say (most of which has already been said elsewhere) on the actual subject of the thread, but seriously, LET IT DIE! There's no need or point to still be discussing this (hence why the thread sat untouched for 1.993 years).
