Maybe this might help clearly.Just Terramino(rom complier)claims that 2.3 is like a poison ivy covers your device very tight;so repeat the loading 2.2 action 3 times for better clean.

Downgrade from 2.3.5 back to 2.2.2

1) Download U8800 V100R001C00B138SP04 (Overseas General) Android 2.2.2
2) Extract the "dload" folder and copy it (along with its contents) to the ROOT of the SD Card.
3) Turn on your U8800 while holding [VOL-] and [VOL+] and the Android 2.2.2 install should start.
4) Once finished you should be back to 2.2.2.
5) If you phone does not boot correctly power on phone while holding [VOL+] to boot into recovery and Reset to factory defaults.
6) Delete the "dload" folder from the SD Card.

important!
Even if you don't wipe data/factory reset,the rom will automatically delete all user data by itself,so backup all your applications,sms,call logs...etc. if necessary

INSTALLING:
- Wipe data/factory reset
- Wipe Cache partition
- Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Mounts and Storage -> "mount /system"
- Mounts and Storage -> "format /system"
Finally install zip from sdcard -> select ROM file

After installed, go to Spare Parts and run it. Then choose Window animations and Transition animations options to Fast. In this way, the desktop will have increased fluency.

Dalvik Cache cleaned and re-adjusted during installation. For this reason, the phone still will be slow during the initial boot. Shut down and restart the phone after first opening. Now you see the opening of the phone quickly, around 30-38 seconds.

Franco Kernel: Last franco,(most know its fame)If you want high performance use with 3d drivers.
Suggested cpu:600-1024 smartassv2.(Tether doesn't work with Franco)

Stockwell Kernel(Elite comes with this): If you prefer tethering,then use this kernel.(native usb tethering works,wifi tethering may need an app like Barnacle).If you prefer 3d drivers,then use 368-1024 smartassv2.If you want longer battery choose 368-600 smartassv2.(It'll be still fast).During video recording,use 544-1024 conservative,after shoot return 368-1024 smartassv2.

Looks nice. I will give it a try after franco gets his .35 kernel done and released. :)

EDIT: Antutu score seems to be about the same as with any other rom. :)

Btw, is this gingerbread based rom with ics icons?

there is no bugs and yes need to downgrade to offical B163

it's name is MIUI based Performans Rom X English - .35 Kernel and installing on stock ROM 2.3.5

important specs:

  • Extreme touch sensitivity is reduced due to factory 2.3.5 software.
  • .35 Kernel which is the biggest problem was corrected incoming and outgoing speech sounds.
  • Only when listening to music, the highest volume level is below normal. This problem will be corrected in future versions.
but elite ROM 9.6 newest :) because TerraMino waiting franco's .35 kernel and he will going to develope Performans Rom X new kernel realesed

  • After installing the second time, wait for the phone opening. Remove the SD card and the screen went pink then off to install the CWM 5.0.2.3

  • Then re-insert the SD card and install the B163 for the third time.
  • The phone opens to shotdown and re-install in the pink screen the CWM 5.0.2.3

These steps are the traces left by the stock 2.3.5's completely clean.
If you do not install 3 times B163, you may experience various problems.

Installed this ROM and for now everything is fine!

No problems with Wi-Fi for now, going to restore my APPs with Titanium Backup and see if everything is fine. Thanks!

Quick thoughts and facts about the .35 kernel version (see post #11)

- Custom theme as stock, blends a little blue and ICS-esque stuff into the default theme, and I love it, looks really fresh
- ICS icons too, not a big fan of them, luckily there's always the Vexillum Project icons to use. The font is awesome.
- It's based on MIUI 2.1.13 and it uses ret4rt's 2.6.35.7 kernel dated January 13th
- English is default language, Traditional and Simplified Chinese are the other choices
- Speaker still has the buggy and crackling sound while playing music :(
- Can't say if it's faster than ret4rt's MIUI, needs a few days of testing at least

Will edit this post later on as I see fit

Regarding the Incall volume and the speaker background noise (like extreme bass) are fixed?

    Hello to everyone. I'am TerraMino from Donanımhaber forum.

    I prepared this ROM for my specific needs. Then I saw u8800 phone complaints about the forums post.

    So I decided to share with Elite ROM. Then with the evolving recommendations from users, we went a little further each day.

    Here, we are here today.

    Elite ROM X2 (.35 kernel) - 2012-06-09

    Fast, stable and brillant MIUI Experience on original Huawei Gingerbread code!..


    Elite X2 ROM was built on the Huawei u8800 B528 factory firmware and Honor B866 Gingerbread software components.

    Elite X2, does not include .32 kernel drivers like other MIUI versions. All drivers are original .35 kernel Huawei drivers.

    Beats Audio added. In addition, the high quality sound settings were applied. (from other Elite series ROMs)
    WiFi and Wired tether applications added. (Both applications were tested.)
    Added new RAM sctipt. (Customized for Elite X2)
    Added Huawei Honor Extras.
    Integrated PDroid Privacy Security system.
    Integrated DroidWall firewall.
    Multilanguage system. (Default language is English)
    In MIUI Launcher, have a small amount of Chinese parts. These parts do not affect system operation. Be corrected in future versions.

    Atmel fix kernel included.


    For the battery percentage:
    Open status bar. Look right top, three dots (...) Long press to three dots, detailed settings. Also short press to three dots for Toogle Customization menu.

    For the Launcher Settings:
    Go to Home Screen and press menu button.
