hey guys. Have you experienced this. The phone will connect to wifi without any issue, but the icon goes dark randomly.

So you're comparing this ROM with the CM9 ROM?
What is "official" about the CM9 build? It's certainly not from Samsung is it?
I also tried the CM9 ROM (mainly because you said it was so good) and found I liked it considerably less than this one.
I had several crashes in the first 15 minutes on the CM9 ROM particularly from ROM Manager, which is a worry because I was starting to wonder whether I could restore my FoxHound ROM : )
I also much prefer the "theme" of this ROM, particularly the fonts in the status bar, the quicklinks and the battery level meter.
I've not a had a single FC or crash using this ROM and the only thing I've discovered that doesn't work for me is the alarm (which I never use and will surely be fixed shortly)
Each to his own I guess but so far I'm loving this ROM.

So far the WiFi works flawlessly for me... I have it running for several hours at a time without any issues so far.
When the icon goes dark is the WiFi disconnected?

Noticed the same here but I guess it's more likely due to wifi signal.. still keep monitoring...

Try to unmount SD card from setting menu: setting > storage > unmount SD card before install any apps from market and mount it when completed, this work fine for me

CWM Touch Recovery on FoxHound 0.2

I'm wondering if there's a way to install the latest CWM Touch Recovery when using this ROM?
Has anyone done this yet or has any links to where I might find more info?
Is there a kernel available that uses this (CWM-TR) and is also compatible with this release?
It would be nice (IMHO) if it was the method of choice for future ROM builds also : )

Wifi is not affected at all. Works as it should and i dont think its because of
the signal as I'm sitting next to the router

It can't be used with ICS, there is no kernel source so no custom kernels.

Logged using an SGS2 type droid while floating in CheckROM quadrant...

rixt i guess you need to talk to Zoule HCO. he was the master themer of Batista. those are his themes.

all the best buddy. did you checkout his BlackBlue theme. Its the best i've used so far.It was actually by alexullde, but he heavily modified it. now if you can make the notification pop ups transparent it would be awesome.

By the way is it possible to support multiple launchers in a theme, like nova, apex or go launcher...?

Yeah the pop up background are controlled by xml files, once you sort those, it just a simple case of making the png's transparent...

No sure about the launchers ....

The BlackBlue theme is amazing and it would be a crime if it doesn't make a comeback on ICS ...I have to speak to him again ..

The filename is Tema universal style 3.7.2-signed.zip

you said it bro. actually that's what i miss most in the rom. also its my personal request, if you port the theme please give support to go launcher ( i use it as its the only launcher that supports folders in the app drawer. cant sort out hundreds of apps if i use any other launcher.)

As for go launcher ex, it works fine with the rom, so what do you mean by support ? You mean the pop up needs theming in the launcher ?
