this is a known bug with CM7DX2 itself. so there is no way that one person is magically " not" having it happen. it happens. on everyones phone.
I only tried texting on eclipse and I'm using CM9 now. ...and about the battery thing, you're right. My mileage was actually about 2 hours tops on CM10. Much better with CM9 however.

Anybody who wants better battery life flash this http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1864547. Its a fix for some bluetooth problem and it really helps

my phone trasported itself back to 1969 last night. pulldown read december 31st, 1969, and most things didnt work. a reboot fixed it. pretty wicked.

This happens occasionally. I've had a couple of nandroids say they were from 1969

After i flashed it my battery life improved by 3-5 hours a day. The screenshot is after heavy use after flashing the fix and starting the day on 80% battery.
