I hope this is the real deal! Do we need to flash the firmware too or not? I don't want to be the guinea pig and have my phone lock as apparently there is a new HBOOT in the firmware? (1.57)

S-OFF
HBOOT: 1.49.1107

Is it necessary to flash the firmware file as well? For GSM version.

Flashed the firmware with no problems just deleted the hboot file 1st didn't want to chance losing s-off

To be honest, what firmware file are you guys all talking about?

And no, you can just flash the zip file and you're good to go.

lol, there's a Firmware.zip file too in the GSM post on the forum.
