Flashing SOKP_init.d.zip overwrites the existing ones.

the stock kernel works better for me, dhollmen kernel causes my screen to flicker and drains battery pretty fast even when I'm not OCing it, and auto reboots everytime I use epic citadel benchmark, I don't know why it happens to mine but I'll stick to stock

Clean installed the ROM with advanced wipe of system, cache, Dalvik cache, data and internal storage along with SOKP GAPPS and Super SU. Though there is no boot animation, the installation was smooth without any issues. Configured Google account, updated Google play services, upgraded Super SU and downloaded Titanium Backup Pro. Restored apps. The ROM is buttery smooth and the audio was louder and clearer even without any setting/mod. I started loving the ROM. Thank you very much, @Dark£Tryder, @Audio God and other team members! Further exploitation of the features should turn into an ardent fan. Thank you all once again.

Probably you are not using the latest Recovery. Update your Recovery and try again. You can find @Android-Andi's repacks of various Recoveries here:

If you are using TWRP, use version 2.7.0.1. I did not experience any difficulty.

True, @FR33LO4D3R you need to update your recovery. Anything below CM6.0.4.7 is not right . I suggest you to use TWRP 2.7.0.2

TWRP 2.7.0.2 has some issues particularly with backup, tho there is no problem with flashing. So TWRP 2.7.0.1 is better for all purposes. I have no issue with TWRP 2.7.0.1 in installing SOKP RC02.

Similarly SOKP RC02 runs well on F2FS enabled Philz recovery (@Android-Andi repack/recompile v6.26.1) & Dual-boot kernel (@ketut.kumajaya's NEXT v2.8.3). All looking good in RC02. Slim Pie is easier to activate compared to hit & miss in RC01.
Minor issues:
- Settings -> Display FC's
- impossible to unlock screen in landscape mode (I've set lockscreen to landscape/rotate since i'm using bluetooth wireless keyboard in Phablet mode)
- Can't find walkman player widget which was available in RC01 even after installing Sony Media Apps.

Just installed it last night... Same problems as above on P3110 but otherwise feature rich ROM. Will write back after a few days of usage. Keep up the great work.

I'v decided to do clean install to test my issues.
So i did: /factory reset/install rom/install gapps/wipe cache and dalvik/.
My observations:
1. still device some times gets screen locked without any reason.
2. in floating multi windows mode applications titlebar buttons (minimize/maximize/close) doesnt work.
As for now after 24 hours of fresh install there wasn't statusbar issue mentioned by me before.
Are you thinking maybe about adding some script which could check if there is update available ?

SOKP stands for Sonic Open Kang Project...which is purely compiled from source with our own range of modifications,cherry picks to make it All In One rom(AIO)....It contains cherry picked features from CM11.00 ,Bean Stalk,AOKP,SLIM,PA,Chameleon OS,omni roms adjusted modified to give best results to users....On the Top of this it has inbuilt Own DTS sound engine to provide original richer Audio & video effects to users.
this uses very less third party application in rom i can say all most zero....and we can generally see some roms are including tons of xposed modules in the rom by the name as customization...but we are using only 3 modules here.....that to optional if users want to remove it they can remove from system application remover in settings....Note that all customizations are hard coded in rom with out taking any help of other third party applications and mods....
now a days it became a trend that using others sound mod and claiming that their rom has ultra best sound....i dont feel any specialty in doing that this can be done by every single user by flashing 3rd party mod on top of pure cm rom.
But sokp has its own made tweaks which never available in market.....nor in any web....
I think i explained more so that you can differentiate sokp with sensonic or any other roms in a correct manner.....
