See the Cwm6 Guide for how to do an update via CWM and keep your data. I just updated mine to the latest nightly 1/27/13 10:00
It is chipset dependent and as far as I know the TP does not have the hardware for it. CM just incorporated support into their source tree.
Absolutely no data loss. Are you gonna do it through the Cyanogen Updater thingy? That's the way I do it. No data loss.
Since when does this CM updater work?
Last time I checked it didn't (I don't have my TP any more so I can't check right away, but my brother would appreciate being able to update like this).
How do you know the drain in deep sleep? An app? Mine will last maybe a full 24-hour period on wifi (sitting next to the wifi router, basically), tops, and I'd love to know what it's pulling.I don't know about you, but I'm having zero issues with battery drain. Device is sleeping at 29-32mA.

Not worried about mHZ, just amperage drain.CPU Spy is a free app which will let you know what CPU speeds were in use. There are other apps which will let you know how much each app is using. Sorry, but I can't remember the name right now. A search should turn them up.
Good luck.

Thanks! I downloaded it, and it looks like I'm pulling -46mA at the lowest, averaging about -50mA. I have three gmail accounts (though they don't get much activity), and a corporate account I sync with Touchdown. It doesn't update during off-peak hours, and even with that not happening for a few hours now I can't get lower than -46. I doubt there's anything I can do, but if you have tips on how you get down to -32mA, I'm all ears!
As far as I know it does not. It's still a work in progress, once it's fully functional it will get rolled into the nightly. Dorregaray is the dev working on it, he may have more to add about it.

The only issue I have with CM9 is that when I play Football Manager 2012/13 and click anywhere it seems to register loads of taps which make the game unplayable. This doesn't happen on CM10 however so it must be a CM9 related issue. Any help? =\
deserves what? a pat on the back for coming in at the last moment to help? i've been following the other guy. he has literally spent months trying to get this to work on his own. 90/10 is pretty accurate from what i have seen.
You can view some of the developers who are involved by simply glancing through the commit history in the device git repository, going all the way back to CyanogenMod 7. However, keep in mind that some code may have been written by one person, refined by others, and committed by yet another, generally with acknowledgement in the commit notes.
Really though. It’s about the work and the fun, not the credit.
Do you recommend we wipe and reflash or just flash over 5/12 nightly?
I installed 5-22 nightly. I did not have any wifi connection problems previously except after sleep sometimes I needed to shut wifi on and off. After installing the 5-22 nightly wifi is not in range even after forgetting it. Anyone else having issues with this nightly?

It's awesome seeing some of the other builds now having screen off audio fix. I am curious if the battery usage is increased with this fix on this build. Can anyone verify how the battery is? In our build its losing between 1.5%-2% per hour on some while in sleep mode, after pulling logcat info we noticed alsa sound related stuff.
My opinion its worth it to have audio fixed, but would be nice to hear from you guys so we can start working on better battery saving mods.
Thanks and good work cm.

Is there a fix for the master key exploit for CM9 on the Touchpad?
