[Q] How to root SC-06D with SC06DOMBMJ5?

I want to root my SC-06D and install CWM to that.

Please teach me how to do that,thank you.

Device: Japanese Galaxy s3 SC-06D

Android version: 4.1.2

Baseband version: SC06DOMBMJ5

If I rooted my SC-06D,will all the data in my phone will be delete?

I will suggest you to use ODIN to flash SC06DOMBMF1 (one version back).
You won't lose data nor internal sdcard. (But don't blame me if it does.)

With BMF1, you can use ODIN 3.0x to flash CWM 6.x.x.x and then use CWM to flash the cf auto root v3 zip.
You will gain root access immediately.

Moreover, you can try to use Voodoo OTAｒｏｏｔ　ｋｅｅｐｅｒ to hide your root and then OTA update to desired version (MJ5 or MK2).
Use it to restore root finally.
