[Q] Phone calls automatically trigger loud speaker mode problem!
Hey guys, so whenever I receive a call or make a call, it would almost always (99% of the time) go to loud speaker mode automatically.
I've tried many different roms already (even went back to stock RUU) and this happens on all of them. I've tried different baseband and RIL combinations (all worked fine, perfect signal strength) and tried turning all the sound settings off, nothing worked.
I'm currently on the 11.76C.xxx.xxx (forgot what it was) baseband with the matching RIL. It was from the 3.33 firmware update posted on October 10th 2013, so it was very recent and recommended by a lot of people.
But anyway I'm thinking this could be a hardware problem with my phone. I'm now trying the following suggestions to see if disabling them will help:
1. Ring in Pocket Mode
2. Flip for Speaker
4. Proximity Sensors
5. Car Dock mode
Basically, those suggestions are the common ones that relate to my problem. Flip for Speaker is definitely a good one to disable, but custom Roms obviously don't have this option to disable. Nor are there options to adjust or re-calibrate the G-Sensor. BTW, I'm using the sultan kernel with the matching custom ROM (CM 10.2 with PMEM). I'm using the 10/10 build with Sultan r40.
Anyway, are there any hidden developer settings or any specific file I can use on my Sensation XE to disable these options? Or are there any Google Play apps that can actually help?
I've tried some Google Play apps already and none helped.
