It's better one who knows than ten who seek

Advisable to start from scratch... besides the normal wipes, I normally start off w Task29, reinstall Magldr and flash partition. Use the correct partition size, 165MB and 5MB cache just to avoid any bad NAND blocks.

This may sound a bit over-do, but believe me, I hardly hv problem flashing ROMs with these extra steps.. first booting takes 3-5mins for me..

So far, all seems good, smooth and no lags. Videos, Camera, utube are fine except an error for voice search...

thanks TY (& XY, Secure, Rick..) for the great work on ICS with HWA makes our HD2 keep on alive...... genius...

Arizmin, you where right for me too
Once I've wipe out all the phone, reinstalled magldr and recovery, plus repartitioning, and flashed the ROM image, it ran perfectly.

So, I can say "Respect" gentlemen.
I still admire the work of tytung

Thank's to everyone who help me and who contributed to what I'll go to bed less stupid tonight

Thanks for this rom, it's my first nand rom and I quite happy about it, but I ran into some small problems, when I connected my phone to my computer i receive the notification "The mobile network is not available until you restart the device with a valid SIM" (see pic below) and when I switch to read my sd-card then I see this "%1$s, %2$s" under the green android mascotte.
It's not a problem to read my sd-card on my computer when the phone is connected to my computer.

I installed this rom by using (L)ittle (K)ernel.

Cheerz,

did you install any battery mod?
i have some problem after instal one of http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1449040

Good Rom!

Rom is awesome!

But I have bug with GPS.

When I'm start any navigation software, HD2 is freeze.
(I trying to do full wipe and nothing change, freeze on gps request.)

Also video player is not work well (Green and black solid on display).

I hope Rom will be more stable in next releases.
BIG THANKS TYTUNG.

Thanks for the help guys, I don't know what did go wrong but I task29/formatted/reflashed everything 2 times and now it's working perfectly. Very smooth.

Awesome rom ! Really amazing!!

This phone is the best ever made, in these modern days with new phones coming out every week, we still have everything perfectly working, thanks to the community, on our 2,5 year old phone!!! Who would have thought that 2,5 years ago? I didn't, i thought that the HD2 would only last a year or something. ;)

Thank you for your great work.
I have a problem. Install the Audiotool, I use it, I close it, call me, and when I answer the Tel crashes. Makes a buzzing sound when answering, and I have to restart to fix. Not done with all rom, eg with (Galaxy GB2.3.7 with TouchWiz4.5 HD2) does not freeze.
Thank you very much and still make great our HD2.

stereo bluetooth question

Has anyone tried the latest version of this ROM with any stereo bluetooth headsets (the ones that you can plug normal stereo headphone or the ones that actually are just stereo headphones)?

took me quite a while to find a nice stable gingerbread build that had this feature working correctly, if anyone has tried out the BT on this would be good to know, it has definitely piqued my interest now hardware acceleration is up and running on ICS, sounds silly but the bluetooth is a dealbreaker. lol

[edit] skrew it. lol the suspense is killing me, I'll edit this bit again when i see how it goes[edit]

Wow, this rom is awesome! Thanks so much Tytung for compiling and releasing this update! It's amazing how much smoother things run with true HWA. Especially Baseball Superstars 2012.

Is it just me or does DSP MANAGER have almost no effect on the sound settings? The standard volume settings are a bit weak for my taste. I have much better results with Volume+ over DSP.

Sweet, Crackle works now!!!

So after hours of playing around. Everything works great. Video, sound, camera and so on.

Only the navigation bar update seems not to work and Google Earth control - also Google Maps. No rotation possible...but nevertheless Earth and maps and the whole Phone is running very, very smooth.:D

Finally decided to flash this ROM and the difference coming from Typhoon is amazing. Everything loads faster, Temple Run runs a tonne smoother (no pun intended) and I can actually play HD games. I've noticed very little lag thus far, and the only problem I could find is the browser seems a tad slower than on GB but the rest is genuinely amazing. Tytung has done it again ;)
