I just got this as a new phone. it came with 4.1.1.

I followed the procedure, downgraded, rooted, and upgraded.

I am now at 4.1.1, rooted.

The 4.1.2 update has downloaded on my phone, and it is asking me if i want to install. Will i loose root? is Voodoo broken for this update? or will i be ok if i temp un-root, and then take the update?

I don't want to take the update if it will kill my hard-earned root. I know it is sometimes lost when taking this update. Should i do it or not? and what is the "right" way to do it to protect root?

I've heard a bootloader has been unlocked! Hang on then... I can't believe this is happening...

I followed these steps and managed to keep root in 4.1.2 using voodoo.

the download link seems to be down. is there a mirror or anything?

EDIT: i guess the site intermittently goes down. it's working now.
