After a day testing the preRC, i say this:
- WiFi works ( After Enabled BT)
- GPS works for me
- Facebook app works perfect!
- Deepsleep works, but not while charging phone.
- Battery life about 14 hours with moderate use. (I use Whatsapp, Facebook, play music, and some game)
- Fast and Smooth...with my config
My config:
Cpu rates: 245 ~ 600 MHz - Smartass
VM Heap: 32 MB
Ram Manager: Balanced with HTKL
Swap: 256 MB
SD Card Read: 3072 KB (3 MB)
System: 190 MB (I Resize the ROM.zip to 87 MB, by deleting some unnecessary apps, ringtones and notifications.)(Apex Launcher and Quickpic my alternatives to Trebuchet and Gallery.) + Gapps (Deleting CarHome, Voicesearch and dialer, and other ****ty stuff
When I put the CPU Rate on Smartass there was a Noticeable differance

nope don't think so:
1. the official thread(rootswiki) seems to be dead
2. working on most roms, think its ROM bug

All of us, will need still learning for our entire lifes, and always will there one person better than us, (I don't support any side of this 'war'), so ... Why not collaborate rather than fight and complain?

Sucks to see you go, PolishBlood was really coming good, thing I don't understand is there have been no flame wars on XDA for a while now, and I have not seen anything on twitter about it, but that doesn't mean they aren't there.
I hope you have fun deving for other phones, the only thing is if they see your roms, and see that all the GT540 are not complete, you could have a hard time getting people to download your roms, if they check your blog and see problems with PolishBlood, they may be discouraged seeing this inocomplete and people who use other devices could ask "why should I download your rom, you have never finished a rom for the GT540, will you complete any for our phone", just a heads up.
I would have atleast released a new final version with more things working before stopping development, just to show people who use other devices you are serious.
Also if nothing will make you come back, please release your sources so other devs (like miro and devswift) can improve their roms.
Just chill all, Martin there is no need for that kind of words, Mike was a hard working dev of LG GT540 community, he contributed a lot. If we were just friendly to each other, and cooperative, if Miroslav, PCFighter, Mike and DevSwift just joined forces, we could have by today a fully working ICS. But everybody wants the glory for themselves and that is the curse of mankind. Selfishness is reason we have this war today and we should all be ashamed because of that.

-Fixed CODECS(fluid movies in gallery and youtube std, still needs improvments)
-New wpa_supplicant v6 that fixes:
a) signal strength
b) it truns off normally(part of deep sleep fix)
c) it doesn’t disconnect like the one in Beta 5 with signal
-Fixed native DATA STATS for wifi and 3g(limits don’t show yet, need to bring iptables
-More SPACE for apps and facebook font fix inside(134mb)
-FULLY FIXED DEEP SLEEP finally bcos of new BT props matching kernel
-Test the BT headset, I made some changes that could fix that
About camera recording, live wallpapers etc. All will work with new adreno props I have but thay need kgsl 3.8(I have 3.0), porting that will take some time… After that I will update CM to 4.0.4 and give you an RC build. I merged the new audio hal from CA and it sounds soo ****ing better, test it It should fix all the sound issues. Test the BT headset, I made some changes that could fix that. The last thing I want to do with audio is to fix the third party remotes, like apple headphones and Beats by Dre. I work on native fm radio – stay tuned.

Swift Settings: There will be the ota updates for donators and screen calibration later. Right now you can turn key backlight on and off and set dsp settings(one less icon in launcher):
