[Q] Losing Root on Reboot?
I've got a rooted Gnex, takju running stock 4.3 (ending in Y) with franco kernel's latest nightly.
Never had issues with root until today. For some reason, every time I reboot, I lose root, specifically, with SuperSU and it not having installed binaries.
I get 4.3, the latest version by reverting to stock kernel and unrooting. I install then reroot and everything's gravy. Flash to a few weeks later and things are still great. A few apps get Play updates (just franco kernel, Nova launcher in the past few days). Then today, my phone dies. I boot it after charging and I get that SuperSU having no binaries.
I think that's odd so I reroot by installing SuperSU's latest via CWM in recovery. I reboot and I've got root again. Reboot again, and it's gone.
I then used Wug Fresh's Nexus Root Toolkit to root more thoroughly. Again, same thing. When process finishes, I'm clear. When I reboot, again it goes away.
I even reflashed the system image, boot, bootloader, and radios and rerooted again, but it doesn't stick. Any suggestions? I'm at my wit's end here.
