Sorry for the noob question but how to reboot into recovery ?
I flashed this rom and now i am getting that bootloop

Someone please help me :)

Thanks a lot... Just bought Ace a few days back... Now upgraded it successfully... Performance little bit increased... thumbs up to you...

Also The internal memory is annoying. Its only 181 MB. I have configured my phone to install apps into my SD card. But eventhough some apps install on phone memory taking lots of space. I am a power user. Is there a way to increase the Internal memory. I also heard that we can partition our SD card so that the OS treat it as part of Phone memory. Is it possible.. please help me...

....one question how to root it now .... supplied zip is not installing... ClockWorkModAce.zip is installed but the other one is not installing,,?

Thanx.... one nooob question i can flash Europe version of 2.3.4 KPH from SamFirmware
I am asking this because i am confused with KPN/KPH/KPO ..etc and Indian version is DDKQ5 ...can i install all roms that are made for KPN/KPH i am talking about

GingerReal is really good choice its one of the best custom roms available for SGA
Well the only thing you need are the right bootloaders
So what base you current rom is isn't the most important thing

As long as you are on gingerbread(no matter what version) you can install GingerReal over it.

Hi when the ddkq5 was realeased,after upgrading to it, I backed up my stock gb ddkq5 using cwm.
Then installed gingerreal 1.1
Everything worked well untill I tried to restore my stock ddkq5 from cwm, what I got is an endless bootloop at the second samsung logo..:(

I could restore my gingerreal image and then there was no bootloop.it was ok..

Next I tried to flash 5file ddkq5 from xda via odin it was stuck at big partition error..

Is it the ext4 file system causing problems?
If so how to revert it,i couldnt do it with ext4 manager..

I have recreated those conditions and same errors repeated.but i found I could flash cf root as pda,in,odin and den restore my gingerreal image.
Also from the same previous state I managed to flash froyo via odin n den then followed by gingerbread via odin,( both one package and the multi file) with success.., I would like to know what was the error due to and how to correctly restore ddkq5 after installing a cfroot based rom..
Pls help me understand this, though Iam a new MEMBER, iam not that new to flashing.I hope somebody can explain the technical stuff behind

One more thing, I also tried wiping the data and cache partitions b4 using cwm to restore
And formatted all partitions with cwm b4 using odin... No success


Currently iam using gingeereal..:)

    hey man i also faced a similar problems i too annoyed with it ,
    I searched around and found that some games were specifically made for FORYO! (games like NFS shift) and those games don't run on Gingerbread or have issues with gingerbread os,
    this what you can do! search for " NFS shift gingerbread HVGA Galaxy ace" you will definitively find NFS gingerbread version for your Ace :):)

    Power off.
    Then power on holding the home button until you boot into recovery.
