[Q] Regarding SD card recognized file systems
Greetings all. Apologies if this has already been asked but I couldn't find an answer using the search feature.
I recently turned my NOOK Tablet into an actual Android tablet by installing acclaim CM10.1.2 stable (dated 2013-07-11) internally. I am trying to use a SanDisk Ultra 64GB UHS 1 SDXC card. The tablet recognizes the card just fine if it's formatted to FAT32, but if I try exFAT or NTFS it tells me the memory card has not been formatted. I've tried formatting the card using both Windows 7 and SDFormatter, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I've done some searching and as far as I can tell the original software on the NOOK was capable of reading FAT32 & exFAT and CM10.x should be able to read all three file formats. Does anyone have any ideas? Could it possibly be that when formatted in the other file formats, the card is "too fast" for the tablet to read?
