com.sonyericsson.android.wakeup is draining 30-40% of my battery and I downloaded a wakelock detector and it seems to pinpoint it to AlarmManager...

What is causing this issue and how do I fix it?

com.sonyericsson.android.wakeup was fixed in 4.4.2

Yeh but I haven't got that update even though my phone is handset only and in the UK.

Maybe a mod can move the thread?

I found the 4.4.2 D5503 update on Google and flashed the ftf with flashtool. I'm in UK too

COM.SONYERICSSON.ANDROID.WAKEUP PROBLEM SOLVED on SONY EXPERIA SP

I am using a SONY EXPERIA SP and I have had this problem up to yesterday.
In fact, yesterday SONY distributed an ANDROID system Upgrade to the BUILD= 12.1.A.201 and this problem has been solved.
No battery drain anymore!!!:good:
