[Q] Red light after flashing PA
I know there are dozens of posts out there regarding the Nexus 4 "Red Light of Death" issue, but I haven't seen anything lately as far as getting it in my situation.
The other night, I decided to go from a stock, rooted ROM to the latest PA (3.99 RC2). I'm not new to flashing ROMs and whatnot, been doing it for years. I updated the radio and bootloader to the ones specified in the original post of the thread, then I flashed PA and the PA GApps. Rebooted into my homescreen and everything was fine. Redownloaded a few apps before I got too tired, set my alarms, and went to sleep. I set 2 alarms, one at 6, and one at 9. I woke up at 6 to my alarm and everything was normal. Then I woke up at 10:30 wondering why my second alarm didn't go off. Then I saw that my phone was off, which was weird because it was plugged in and should have been charging. I just assumed it crashed, so I tried to power it back on. Nothing. I tried to boot into the bootloader, and about 10-15 seconds after holding it, the LED will sort of pulse red. It hasn't changed since.
I've tried using different USB cables. Used the original wall charger, my Nexus 7 wall charger, and my computer.
I've tried the Vol Up+Power for 60 seconds to supposedly "reset" the battery.
I've tried Vol Down+Power countless times
I've tried taking the back off and pulling the battery bridge off and plugging it back in at least a dozen times
I even bought a new battery, same exact model, and installed that one. Also not working.
Is this all I can do? Am I SOL? I did buy it through Google, so I can probably request an RMA, but there are files that I'd like to keep if I can.
Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: Nothing seems to be working. I have requested to receive an RMA through Google and am now awaiting a response as to whether or not I'm eligible.
