At this point its far too early to speculate, thus far Moto has been following its old practices while under direction by google. As it stands Moto still has alot of pr repair to do and public recognition before Google will use it as a Nexus. As for Samsung, there has been no indication that they would, so far every device they have released doesnt exactly fit the nexus concept, tho with their Google play devices (essentially a nexus device but not manufcatured or named as such, ala Galaxy s4 and HTC ONE) . As it stands Samsung would likely loose money by making a nexus device. The N5 is actually being sold below MSRP see how much it will cost off contract at sprint, should be around 5-600. Samsung has found a formula that works for them, i can see more google play devices in the future but more than likely we will see a nexus form HTC, LG, or Moto. I doubt anything will come from sony with the recent lawsuit that Sony, Apple and MS have brought against google and various other google partners.
But again as a new nexus was just released yesterday it is far too early to speculate about who is going to make the next nexus.
