It gets crazy hot when I'm playing PvZ 2, at about 45C. The camera lens feels hot. Just doesn't seem safe to play for extended periods of time. Is this normal for the phone?
Does playing Plants vs Zombies 2 heat up your phone to 45C?

lol, 45C isnt hot at all. warm maybe, not hot. did you know that average human body temp is 37C? thats not far from 45C. anyways, when playing cpu/gpu intensive games, temps can easily hit 70-80C
Are you talking about battery temp or CPU temp?

I think he is talking about battery temp.... Because PvZ2 is a frying pan for the N5...
More than 70°C-78°C CPU temp with thermal throttle (caused by battery temp in stock kernel)and everything. (And depending of the ambient temp of course).

OP here, I think it's the battery temp. It's the temperature that I get from my Battery Graph Widget widget.
well, then its warm at 45C, but very normal. gaming will warm it up, having it plugged it will warm it up a bit further. i believe the devices default shutdown temp for battery is 60C.
