F.Y.I - These were only tested on a Captivate running Serendipity 7 (2.3.3). I do not know if they will work on other ROMS, but give it a shot. They should work on other Gingerbread ROMS (not sure about Froyo). If you test them please report back in the thread and I will update the OP with confirmed working / not working on ROMS.


Confirmed working on:

  • Serendipity 7
  • Cognition 4.x and up

Reported Not Working:

  • Weather & Clock widget not playing well with Mosaic IV
  • Memo widget FC'ing on ??????
  • Music Player widget not playing well with Mosaic IV


Quick Installation (unzip the download!) (Not flashable)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Copy the desired .apk's to your SD Card root
2. Open your file manager app and browse to the apk's
3. Click them and install with Application Manger
4. ?????????
5. Profit


This is a collection of widgets ripped from the LG Optimus 2X phone. They all worked fine for me with the phone and ROM listed above. Here is a list of the included widgets as well as my screenshots of them in action!


  • Analog Alarm Clock Widget (3 widgets)
  • Analog Clock Widget (4 large widgets & 10 small widgets!)
  • Clock / Weather / Schedule Widget
  • Digital Clock Widget (4 widgets)
  • Genie Widget (News & Weather)
  • Memo Widget
  • Message Widget (SMS Widget)
  • Music Widget (for Music app, not Samsung stock music player app)

Everything seems to be working fine with Mosaic IV, except the Weather & Clock widget. I got it working, but it took about 5 or 6 tries. Gives an error about no apps to perform a funtion.

I was gonna quote the error, but the last time I tried, it worked!


UPDATE: Damnit! Crashed after waking a few minutes later.

Thanks for letting me know.

If you get a chance whenever, let me know what the error is and I will see if there is something that I can try to fix to make it work.
