It depends on update.
If it's only minor update, usually it's possible.
But big OTA updates won't work.
You'll get notification and be able to download but it'll show error as soon as you try to flash it.
You can use flashtool

I'm on jb 4.3 it will be kk 4.4 if I would try to take ota will it booked my phone only no modifications have been done only rooted?

Didn't quite understood this...
But yeah...I'm 99.9% sure OTA will fail on this.
Try...you can't lose anything...if you see error msg, nothing bad won't happen.
Just download ftf amd flash it through flashtool, exclude all wipes and you'll be on 4.4 with all data and accounts...
