Just loaded. Was having WiFi reconnection issues. Rebooted phone, it then went into bootloop. I ended up reinstalling rom, gapps then installed the 3.4 kernel. Everything seems to be running great.

Overall, this thing is butta. Only two issues I have had so far is the menu button doesn't seem to be working on either NavBar, or pie controls. Most of the time, the auto hide button doesn't show up. Either way, doesn't work. Fortunately overflow does work, so it's not a huge annoyance for.

Only other problem I've had is when in portrait mode, there's like a frozen section between status bar and the top of whichever app I am in.

One thing I haven't found in the settings is the themes. If it's somewhere else I just can't seem to find it.

google search

Google search doesn't work wit voice


EDIT: Google search is some how using the noise cancellation mic up top instead of using the mic below do you know any way I can fix this.

Would not restore apps/app data through Titanium Backup. Tried factory resetting a couple times, tried fixing permissions. No go. Seemed pretty smooth and quick, though. Thanks for working on this!

Back to Venom for now....

Change ur backup directory location to ***legacy*** directory.
Then u should be good to go :)

Not sure I understand what you mean. TB could find my backup data okay, but it either say it was restored (and not be), or would just get stuck trying to restore it. I would have to restart in order to try again. So I could see my previous backups and attempt to restore app or just app data, but it wouldn't ever work.

Open to suggestions! Thanks.

Its 4.3 base, so set your backup dir for TiBu as ::

storage/emulated/legacy/TitaniumBackup

After setting backup dir, System will automatically move ur backups from previous dir to new correct one.
Then proceed with restoring backups.

Bluetooth audio streaming working with VW. Shows what's playing on display of car. This is the first time it shows up. Haven't tried using the phone yet. Will after work. Lately (before this ROM) the respondent says there is a considerable amount of background noise and voice being garbled.

Did you by chance add hardware/qcom/media-caf and /display-caf repo's? because that would be why i cant get it to build lol im gonna add media-caf and see if that fixes anything

If you are based off the CM 10.2 device tree, I think you need to have the caf variants for both of those. If I had to guess, I would suspect that in your build that you are neither compiling media nor media-caf which is why it can't find it at all...

You need audio-caf,media-caf,display-caf folders in hardware/qcom folder. It has dependencies with our device.
Just CnP from CM repo, if u have it.

    Recommended Installation Steps

    Coming from another Custom ROM

    1. Wipe Data/Factory Reset (This does not affect your Internal/External storage)
    2. Wipe Cache
    3. Wipe Dalvik Cache
    4. Flash PA zip
    5. Flash JB GAPPS
    6. Reboot

    Flash GSM Patch from cm10.2 thread if you are GSM user

    How to upgrade PA versions:

    Troubleshoot

    Q. Titanium Backup is not restoring apps.
    A. Set your backup dir for Titanium Backup as ::

    storage/emulated/legacy/TitaniumBackup

    After setting backup dir, System will prompt to move your backups from previous dir to new correct one.
    Then proceed with restoring backups.


    Recommended Settings

    Enable Developer Options in Settings
    Set below ::

    Window Animation Scale :-> 0.5x
    Transition Animation Scale :-> Off
    Animator Durator Scale :-> 0.5x
