Too many pages to read everything and cant search thread using app vs browser. So I apologize if this has been asked.
Can anyone tell me how battery life is, and ram usage, compared to pacman18? Does bluetooth work ok?

Don't dig every thread you see.

From what I experienced, you're best going with CM9 or CM10 stable builds, they share working-out-of-the-box BT, generally better battery life than PAC, and plenty of RAM (if you use it wisely - I usually got 240M on CM9 and 220M on CM10).
Do not consider current CM10.1, Slim, AOCP, PAC, Xylon, etc. as they are all Android 4.2.x and BT has glitches. Also eats more RAM.
If you don't have version-demanding apps, you can even revert to the old school CM7.2 for incredible smoothness and 250+MB of RAM... ;)

Cool. Thank you very much Andy! I dont have mich in the way of apps on the phone since its a weak single core. Most demanding app would be holo launcher and maybe my live wallpaper lol. Only have maybe 10 apps I've installed. Dont use email or facebook, etc. Just for calls, txt, pics and occasionally to check weather or read cnn.

I save the games and resource intensive stuff for my gt2 tablet. Might have to give cm7 a try since I want light and slim. It sounds like it might be "the one". I'll get to reading that thread.

Thanks again
Aaron

Does anyone have a copy of the rom? Cyanogenmod is dead along with the download site.
Man, I just want to thank you for taking up a zombie thread. I saw this and thought I might have it. Found my Epic and got it fired up, but all of my download were on an external SD card which had long since been used in who-knows-how-many other devices and has probably been corrupted and thrown out. I had a few minutes if fun playing with my old phone, though. Android was much more simple 4 years ago. It's amazing how different it is.

I may have a backup of those files on one of my old computers, but I doubt it, and it will be a while before I can check. I'm sorry I couldn't help right now. If I find it though, I'll be sure to upload it for you.

Good luck.

After some serious searching, I found a working download link for cm-9.0.0-epicmtd.zip, CyanogenMod 9.0.0 for the Epic 4G, here: http://ftp.f3l.de/android/cyanogenmod/
On the same server there's also 7.0.0 and 10.0.0, just go to the parent directory to see them. Unfortunately, the 9.1.0 folder does not have a file for epicmtd.

I recently bought a new Epic 4G, and had to do some detective work to find the stable Cyanogenmod images. I have found all of them, and I verified the MD5 sum values are correct. For further reference:

CM 7.2.0 Stable: http://pubmirrors.reflected.net/pub/get.cm/jenkins/5080/
CM 9.0.0 Stable: http://pubmirrors.reflected.net/pub/get.cm/jenkins/5801/
CM 9.1.0 Stable: http://pubmirrors.reflected.net/pub/get.cm/jenkins/7077/
CM 10.0.0 Stable: http://pubmirrors.reflected.net/pub/get.cm/jenkins/12604/
CM 10.1.0 Stable: http://pubmirrors.reflected.net/pub/get.cm/jenkins/32364/
CM 10.1.1 Stable: http://pubmirrors.reflected.net/pub/get.cm/jenkins/34070/
CM 10.1.2 Stable: http://pubmirrors.reflected.net/pub/get.cm/jenkins/34254/
CM 10.1.3 Stable: http://pubmirrors.reflected.net/pub/get.cm/jenkins/42496/
CM 10.1.3.1 Stable: http://pubmirrors.reflected.net/pub/get.cm/jenkins/43046/

You can verify the MD5 sums on your own by looking for the original cyanogenmod.org Downloads page in the Wayback Machine at archive.org.

I have been unable to find the Clockworkmod image cwm5-bml-d700.tar linked originally from the cyanogenmod.org installation instructions page. It has a MD5 sum value of 9ae119a8202d594226e88796dfb8d0c2

If anyone has that file and can post it here that would be great.

Look at my post above. And if you have that Clockworkmod image, please feel free to post it too.
