How to unbrick Samsung Galaxy Gio [June.5.12]

I make 2 ubs jig's. One with 300k om resistance and second with 301k om resistance.
No one works. Now i must go to service yea? Fk.

Hi,
I think I brick my gio..
I put the phone In download mod just like your steps , I have the complet rom , Odin whit aboot..code..phone...evryting , conection yelo corner but he can pas to setup conection....whay¿?¿?

You may not have the usb driver installed try installing samsung kies on your pc to install the correct usb driver for your phone then see if the problem is solved

I m not understeend this step :"Flash a recovery with your specific filesystem (EXT4 or RFS)-(If you have EXT4, download ext4 only, don't get ext4+rfs)"
where is this file??

I get two interface for downloadmod :
1-samsung dload black screen and white samsung...
2-black screen and yelow downloading....
I can flash detectind download mod but nothing MIBIB is 30 minute for flash rom
and try flash Gingerbread Stock Recovery with odin but he can pas to recovery he put recovery imag downlnoad
I think Isnt go to good download mod why I have two?¿
I can put in recovery mod...

I think your Gio will work again, as long as you have wiped the data.
Then try reflashing with Odin

(Stock recovery should work, but if it doesn't the use CWM)

How its 6.55MB?!?!? Does the file works with Odin? Have u tested it?

EDIT:Well I check the tar and it only has recovery.img. Is the tar not corrupted or it is suppose to be like this?

I experienced this once.. stuck on MIBIB download,
then a use another computer to do the flashing, and it worked.
I think you should try..

Yes. Recoveries are around 3-6MB

If your phone doesn’t boot into download mode and you have a black screen after flashing anything wrong. Here's how you unbrick it; worked for me

==Method 1:==

Prepare ODIN with the firmware you want to flash (in my case was Gingerbread 2.3.4) and get it ready to go.

Remove battery, wait for a bit. Insert battery again.

Flash a recovery with your specific filesystem (EXT4 or RFS)-(If you have EXT4, download ext4 only, don't get ext4+rfs)

Cache

Dalvik Cache

Have ODIN ready. Connect phone to PC.

Reboot to Download Mode
Hold Volume down + Power + Home button at the same time.

At this point Odin should have detected your Galaxy Gio (Yellow rectangle should appear).
-

Insert the Stock Rom or Custom Rom.
-

Click Start button in Odin and wait about 5 min.
-

Reboot and wait

If all goes well it should come back to life.
If not, repeat the steps above ^ (Atleast 2x)

Download OPS Only

Download DRIVER Only

My bricking gio can enter doanload mode but can't enter recovery mode, so:
Method 1: I can't enter recovery mode, but no use to flash any rom by odin in doanload mode.
Method 2: Is JATG a hardware? I don't have it on my hand. What can I do?
Method 3: I have read the post by Adam, but he said the method is applied to odin3. GIO is using odin 4.xx. I tried this method, but it always failed in unbricking my S5660.

What can I do to revive my gio?

I have same case i can`t access recovery but a can access download mode and emergency download mode.
No ram dump mode.
Odin detects but i can`t flash both stock and custom roms/recoveries. I think odin flash them(roms) too fast 1 minut 50 seconds can`t remember how much time it took when i flashed roms successfully
Screen flashing when charging. If push the power button samsung logo flashing
When i try to flash recovery and then it`s restarting then the phone-triangle-pc logo flashing.
Before i bricked it I installed RZRecovery can`t remember what i did there (what i deleted/wiped) etc
I bought new phone already but i want to bring it back to alive.
Too bad that ADB is on only in recovery mode.
I haven`t tried flashing in another pc.I`ll try it.

And also, we both have tried installing some recovery tool.
Maybe something wrong within our process.
Anyway, it's not important now.

The important thing is that the methods from the Peteragent5 can't revive our phone.
And we both want to get more help from him.

mine is the same i can access the download mode but not recovery after i flash it with odin and the flashing finishes the screen just start flashing i cant still enter recovery but download mode. and if i press vol up power and home then some ramdump just showes up but nothing is happening. i've tried to flash it with odin a couple of times now still same thing just flashing
