Signal constantly dropping in specific location
So I have recently swapped carriers, from Vodafone to Aldi mobile and since this I have been experiencing constant drop outs whenever I am at home,("No service" as shown in CM10.1) every other location away from my home suburb seems to be fine. It definitely isn't a fault with network coverage as I have put the Aldi sim into another (unrooted) android phone and signal was fine with no dropouts. So it definitely is my device.
The dropouts are lasting anywhere from 10 minutes to several hours. And when the signal is working, it is not weak and it will only last for a short period after which it will drop to no bars and then to "No service"
I have tried the following(in this order):
- Toggling Airplane mode & Rebooting
- Updating/flashing firmware to 3.33
- Flashing the original Sense ROM (Not RUU, restored from a backup) (This is now the current ROM on the device)
- Toggling Airplane mode & Rebooting (again)
- Changing the preferred network (ie. to GSM only)
None of these have seemed to help.
What else can I try to resolve this issue? I was thinking to flash a different baseband but not sure which one. If anyone can figure out whats actually going on that would also be great too. I've included some additional information about the device below.
Thanks in advance!
