I am also happy to report that in v14, I have my widget locker working again. In an earlier build, the screen would go black quickly after hitting power.

I played with the WL settings on timeout, so maybe it would have worked before.

I am now feature complete+ from gingerbread (well, except for OC/UV... )

This rocks.

can you please debloat this thing, I'm pretty sick of going into TiBu every new version to nuke the Hubs, Samsung Apps, and other miscellaneous crapware stuffed into ROM nobody wants to use reallly /rant

sorry for that... anyway I really do love this and have been using as my DD since it first came out

O and another thing!!... can you make the updates simply the updated portions of the ROM rather than rereleasing a 300+ mb ROM where most of it is pretty much the same

Lol. I would debloat it but most people like to debloat themselves.

And lol. I'm going to start doing the small updates but when there is a new firmware up it has to be a full rom. :)

The US version of touchwiz is different than the international version. (Default homescreen is the middle one instead of the left, and you can sort apps in the app drawer however you want - by dragging them to any page you choose). It's really just personal preference, I am just used to the US version.

I followed the steps on this thread http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=24128919&postcount=1962 and it worked out pretty good.

ok thanks, as I've seen before, which I like maybe you could just pull most of the samsung apps and all and throw them into an add on for those who want it?
...yeah I should probably just drop it and not ask for it spoon-fed to me I know... but I'm so used to it from my mommmy lol

and yeah I know new bases need full roms, just wondering, any idea how many bases we need to go through to get to be i guess "where we should be" if that means anything?

Lol. Anytime there's a new firmware I'm going to do a full rom. I'll probably skip an update if it feels slower. But thats my goal. To have official samsung releases here.

it just got released today. And the benefit is fastness of course. Lol. And stability.

Lol. It just adds a few apps. If you flash on top then immediately go to titanium. It'll have all the new apps. Then you can delete it from there easier.

There is going to be dozens of more releases from now till 4.0.4 and when that's released every region is going to do the same thing it did for 4.0.3 as you see below.
Most do not bring anything new just released for its carrier with little to no change, some just brand it with the logo like AT&T does.


So if your tired of changing bases just stick to one of his ported stock releases.


(Doesn't include all of them just march)

Thanks for clarifying. I used to build Hybrids for blackberries and I understand this all to well. Newest doesn't always mean best :eek:

So far every new release has out done the last. If an update truly is slower then I might skip out on it. And every update is no wipe so think of it as an ota update. Kind of? Lol
