Yes, if you have an HTC HD7S push the power and camera button, not the volume buttons.

You should then arrive at a black and white screen with a phone, cable and a laptop. That's your USB host/loader mode.

The problem is that I didn't know upgrading to Tango disables my downgrade.

I used SevenEighter to go all the way to 7.8 from Mango and now my bootloader screen is only one line of writing at the top of the screen...

Made the cable thing, and each time it'll START reading the card but throw a "Not Allowed" error and quit.
It's probably a 'goldcard.img' file issue, but I can't find a working link
