is it just me or should the automatic brightness for my display be faster to respond to light changes? it seems to take atleast 10 seconds to adjust. Is there some settings that i may have missed?

No other complaints about this rom at all! i love it!

i am using build number imm76d.

the dev has only said to expect no support from himself or his team when using other kernels and in no way has mentioned to stay away from this thread. there are people around here who use other kernels to help and support others. if flashing another kernels annoys you , why cant you ignore? is it that hard?

all i asked you was to be polite to users who are in other kernels.
Users on other kernels should stay out of this thread. If it didn't come from teamhacksung, don't clutter this thread with reports. This thread is hard enough to read as it is.

btw codeworkx said you should not post here
it is missleading because there are bugs reported that are not bugs and only happens with different kernels.
there are threads for those kernels: stay there.

Yup, and talking about the stupid bugs here just makes it harder for ANYONE to find useful information.

Doesn't seem to be a lot of new commits in the change log. I'm relatively new to CM. Wondering whether that's normal, Easter, or development has slowed down.

Everyone needs a break sometimes - remember, kernel source dropped just over 2 weeks ago, leading to a fairly major development push.

Also, after the USB Mass Storage SoDs issue, everyone is being a little more careful about pushing out changes.

Also a few major feature implementations are still stuck in review (such as dock audio) - the more **** you have in review, the more of a pain it is to work other things.

Last but not least - I don't know about others, but I've been spending a lot of time this past week cleaning up in prep for a family visit! After Easter I need a break to be honest... Fixing Samsung's broken **** in the source release was not fun.

It will be bundled when the CM devs are ready to bundle it in the ROM
I don't know... it works better than the music player that is currently bundled. Where Music crashes miserably (trying to play a searched song) the other works perfectly. Replaced to try it.

It would be nice if they added a manager to get missing album images. Stupid me that I converted to MP3 my CDs without using ID3v2 or album images. I reconverted some but I don't want to do the rest. :p

fine agreed, actually i have posted(if any) bugs only when using the stock cm9 kernels and not when using other kernels. Hope other users follow the same

It's not just you. Sensor does work but reaction time is somewhat slow. From memory it was the same in CM7 too... Maybe just a hardware limitation?

Window Length and Sample Threshold.

Don't come back and complain about battery life after you change it.

I don't know if anyone else has said this but could we possibly get a button option for the notification drawer to toggle outdoor mode? Outdoor mode just makes using this phone outside so much better but its a very very tiny pain to toggle on/off.

i don't think this is possible because it is a device dependent setting

would a widget be enough? perhaps i could write an widget app to do that if i find the time.

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.0 (ICS), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     *
     * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
     * cause of male impotence.
     */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    If you're a bloody noob and getting confused by following simple instructions, go down and read about using the noob-proof ODIN method.

    First time installing CyanogenMod 9 to your Galaxy S II, or coming from another ROM:
    - READ FAQs: http://teamhacksung.org/wiki/index.php/Experimental:GT-I9100:Frequently_Asked_Questions
    - Make sure you're running ICS bootloaders lower than LPH! (if you're unsure, flash the CM9 Resurrection Edition)
    - Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery
    - Copy GApps and CM9 ZIPs to your internal SDCard
    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash CM9 zip
    - Flash GApps zip
    - DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your calendar sync will not work)
    - Reboot
    - Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup!

    Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 9:
    - Copy CM9 ZIP to your internal SDCard
    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash CM9 zip
    - Reboot

    Using the noob-proof ODIN method:
    - Download CM9 Resurrection Edition
    - Download GApps and put it onto your internal sdcard
    - Open Odin
    - Choose cm-9-XXXXXXXX-ODIN-galaxys2.tar.md5 as PDA
    - Boot your phone into download mode
    - Connect your device via usb to your computer
    - Wait till Odin has fully recognized your phone
    - Hit the start button and wait till the flash process is finished
    - Device boots automatically into recovery
    - Flash GApps
    - Reboot into CM9
    - Follow above steps to update CM9 to lastest available version (Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 9)

    It's done when it's done. Don't expect a release withing the next days. If it takes weeks, then it takes weeks.

    I'll focus on I9100 development because it's the device with the most users.
    It will take us a lot of time to integrate all patches/hacks needed for samsung devices.

    Don't bug us or ask for etas, just be patient and let us work.
    That's the best what you can do.
