can i use the galaxy note stylus on htc flyer or on lenovo thinkpad tablet and vice versa and why galaxy note stylus are more slim and doesn't have battery ??

The DS has a resistive screen whereas most smartphones nowadays have capacitive touch screens

It has more to do with the fact that the Note's screen actually powers the digital pen.
