Timescape <- may wanna keep it. -you will possible get wierd **** happen without it. contacts/mms etc.

It's important, for the Contacts List, keeping "EventStream" installed (in my italian version is called "Motore Flusso Evento"), deleting this you'll have certainly problems.

By mistake,i think I uninstalled my data traffic switch widget....does anyone know how to get it back?

Try with mine. I've uploaded it here

In my italian version (SK17i) I've uninstalled it just from the stock app manager, without root permissions... I don't know if in the other versions this app is locked as a system app.

I have updated my phone to 2.3.4 . Will it be safe to root and remove apps. I am new to android.
Thanks in advance

I'm also new to android coming from iphone 4 here, and I could say its safe it root and remove locked by default apps, this will help your device free internal storage at the same time ram.

This root batch file also helps us root devices easily without flashing back to an earlier version of android. I'm using xperia mini st15i and i'm loving much more this device than before.

for some reasons before i didn't root my device due to complicated method but this method really rocks and i would really recommend this one... its simple and very accurate .... no need to flash back to earlier builds of android os.

Confirmed method 1 works on Rogers Xperia Mini Pro sk17a Android 2.3.3.

I bought and love titanium backup pro for backups and uninstalling or freezing apps. Well worth the investment in my opinion.

Thanks for the list!

Anyway, i didn't unistalled any of this apps. I prefer just to froze them because this way i don't get any extra space from the internal memory, but it's very easy to reactivate an app if i need it.

    Hey guys.
I thought it would be nice to have a list going :)

Safe to remove apps for Xperia mini Pro/Xperia mini:
Note: Uninstalling these apps seems to be safe, they might however still remove some functions or features.
It's recommended to backup these apps to SD first, using either Titanium backup or Super Manager

    Method 2, using FlashTool:

All credits go to Androxyde and his Team

Both methods are basiclly the same, though for some people one might work better. It works for all versions and all firmwares

is there a new update for the mini pro.. because what i remember i update it before i break it... too bad for if i have to wait for the next update..

You may wish to manually choose your model with SEUS, and click on SK17i icon to start over with it. And good luck !!

What I meant was,the shop from which I got told me I have a year warranty from Sony Ericsson..will that be voided if root my device?

if I follow the steps mentioned in the link http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1320350 what happens to the warranty?

Ask the shop, we don't know. That info varies with different shops.
