That's portuguese from portugal (pt-PT), in Brazilian Portuguese (mine - pt-BR) shows:

Done, portuguese and german, sorry but for some reason I can't do it with particular region languages, like enUK, or ptBR.

not there yet

So I fixed perms however there is no sign of the 777 config in root explorer neither in other apps like ROMToolbox.
Even though I used these perms I still get the text in the lockscreen.

I have changed the language from english-uk to english-us ... repeated the copy file to /system/framework
chmod 777, reboot and the swype text remains ...
still no luck here

same here. did exactly as instructions said, mounted rw, still the text shows.

A couple of things, if someone or OP can clarify.

Is framework named as yeniframework-res.apk in the ROM?
Will a flashable zip not work.

I have not tried out any ICS roms yet, so don't know.

The reason i am asking is that i have removed the text from all languages and also rectified a few .9 png errors, so if someone is willing to try, let me know.

On that rom, there are 3 apk's on /system/framework folder, framework-res.apk, yeniframework-res.apk, and Other wich I dont remember right now. It's easy to make It work on flashable zip, no prob while you setup permissions to at least 755 or 644 im not sure how it is on sgs2.

No, it's not the same. Not for the dev. It's too separate languages, just like japanese and english he have to look for in the source code. That's why I made clear for him.

For those who are wondering what 777 means, I wiki'ed it, and it states: 777 = "-rwxrwxrwx" = rwx for all

Correct me if I'm wrong.

However, I tried and it isn't working on my Resurrection 9.4

Mod for all languages - Resurrection ROM v9.4

I have removed the text from all languages and also rectified a few problematic .9 png files. I did not use the framework posted here. I pulled it off the ROM.

Please backup before flashing this from CWM recovery. I have not tried it. If there is an issue, kindly post here and i'll take a look.

LOL, this is for ressurection rom 9.4, not for other roms.

Attached a screenshot for Brasilian Portugese. It does not work for English, which i think is dependent on framework-res.apk. I'll mod that too and let interested people know.

I am editing framework-res.apk to see if it will work. Lot of errors in the file while decompiling.

Edit : I have modded framework-res.apk as well. Just flash the zip file from the link below and you should be good. You can see the screenshot with Irish English.
