Hi,

so if well understood:
* it works for 4.1.1 (or 4.1.2)
* because the bootloader is unlocked
* the kit should be followed step by step, you cannot skip 1 option (simply choose "root" for example and not the other steps)

Is this correct?
If so, this basically means that you lose the warrenty, no?

Txs for the clarification ;)

Cheers.

Works for ICS and JB
Can skipping steps, is ordered to make it easier but you can select the one you want to use.
By unlocking the bootloader accept the disclaimers.

Turn your phone off. Hold power up and power, when the menu appears navigate to AP Fastboot using V- to select and V+ to confirm. There you'll be able to see if its locked or unlocked. If you got the device brand new and didn't unlock it, it is still be locked.

This is a rather disturbing response to a rather straight forward question. Like the person above, I would like to know if this bootloader unlocking feature is meant for the unlockable versions of the phone aka non-Verizon phones, thereby duplicating the Motorola tool. Or does it by pass the "phone-home" of the Motorola unlocker and essentially still only for non-Verizon HDs or does it work for the HD? Is your answer of "test" a way of flipping off bmoresbest55 by telling him to find out for himself? You are the creator of this tool, so a straight forward answer like yes or no would have sufficed. Or you could have done the community a favor by stating that you need someone to test it out.

I am excited about a English version as well.

For the bootloader unlock. Does this mimic, or copy, the motorola unlock system without registering the phone?

I am extremely interested in hacking my HD maxx but I would rather not let Moto know so I can still get a replacement if need be, so my main holdback has been waiting for a working bootloader hack. If anyone has tried to unlock their bootloader with this, let us know how it turns out would you?

**EDIT**
So after asking this I remembered you could dissect BAT files by renaming the extension to a TXT. It would appear that this is not a bootloader hack, and only assist in getting your device unlocked through Motorola

Has anyone tried this with the Verizon Version (XT926)??
I want to try it, but not bricking my phone or losing support if it's NOT for this phone.

Just asking before I use the latest English version.

Thank you.
