[Q] How to Update OpenDSP
I am using a Developer Edition HTC One running Android Revolution 3.2 Google Edition. I installed TWRP and the ROM immediately after getting the device, so before I received the official HTC 4.2.2 OTA. To my knowledge, several components of the software, aside from the main ROM, are updated in OTA updates including:
I have updated the radio to the latest Google Edition radio via CWM-flashable zip (version 4A.18.3263.15_10.38h.1157.04L), so that's not a problem.
However, my Hboot and OpenDSP are still outdated, compared Google Edition devices that have received the latest OTA.
I believe that OpenDSP is linked to audio output on Qualcomm devices, so I made the correlation that the newest OpenDSP, supplied by OTA (version v31.120.274.0617) is responsible for "Audio improvements" in the changelog.
My question is, how would I go about updating my OpenDSP without fully converting my device to GPe and installing the OTA? Is there any benefit to updating the Hboot at all?
