If that's not the problem, just start over from scratch. Maybe your repo is somehow broken.

Thanks once again for your help. And, by the way, thanks for all your great work on the Nook Tablet!

I performed rebuild the repo twice but each time the local working files don't appear. However, I am making progress by running repo list and parsing the output to perform a repo sync {project name} for each project and the local copies of the directories and files showed up. There are two broken projects and I will review the manifest to see if they are needed. However, something is missing and the build aborted. Still investigating ...

Meanwhile, I did get a good 2010-10-15 build on my backup virtual machine:
  1. No SODs or crashes so far. The build is generally working well.
  2. I can confirm that the calculator is still broken.
  3. It sometimes has difficulty playing a 150MB 4 minute HD MP4 video - the video freezes but sound continues.
  4. I suspect that the 4.1.2 upstream changes are unsettled as apps such as the media server stays on and prevents the tablet from sleeping. I had to uninstall/re-install Youtube to make it work.

Compared your local_manifest.xml, saw that mine was out-of-date, dropped in yours and got a good build without using --force-broken.

Thanks again!!

Tried building this tonight, and after much wrangling got the repo sync started...only to have it fail when I ran out of disk space... Oops! I'll try it again when I have the time to configure Ubuntu on my desktop (have to have time to get Plex working for my wife and kids if I want to install Linux on it)

If you get a build, watch for the problem that I am having with cm-10-20121020-UNOFFICIAL-acclaim.zip (and 19th too) whereby when the tablet goes into a deep sleep it wakes up with the SDcard unmounted and the only way to get it mounted again with my files visible is to reboot the tablet (it appears mounted in Settings->Storage and I unmounted/mounted several times to no avail). In previous builds since Oct 4 and using my out-dated local_manifest.xml, I saw the SDcard occasionally remounting after deep sleep with all the files accessible.

This is really annoying because my stupid "smart" Economist app (which doesn't give me the choice when to delete downloaded back issues) sees this bug as a cue to delete all downloaded issues. I work around this now by shutting the tablet down.

Another issue noted is playing huge (100MB+ 4 minute) HD mp4 files. Sometimes the video freezes and the audio has to play out while other times they refuse to play. This was working fine in early October (4th,11th builds).

Some of this may be upstream issues with Jellybean 4.1.2. The calculator is still broken. Also, after flashing and wiping cache/dalvik cache, I had to clear the data of some apps to get them working again (Apollo, ES-File Explorer, Globe News).

Cheers.
