hi guys, any one guide me to cook personal custom ROM for Xperia Neo V? I dont know exactly what I need to cook custom ROM for Neo V. I only know there is dsixda's kitchen which help's you in cooking ROM but don't know how to use it for xperia neo v. I have used dsixda's kitchen for my previous device ZTE Blade to cook a ROM and it works. Can any one tell me what kinda stuffs and knowledge I need to cook ROM for Neo V. :)

Given that 4.1 is a relatively minor updat from 4.0, how big is the chance that Sony offers a 4.1 update too?

Considering the fact that Sony isn't making profits & they gave an update for 2011 Xperia, it is the best we could get. Now to sell the 2012 line up, it's very unlikely that we can expect Jelly from Sony ;)

I already flash the newest. But. I get stuck on logo. Anyone can help??:)

Try to untick wipe data. My girlfriend's active is rooted and modified like themes and cwm.
When connecting in update service or pcc its saying that i have the latest software, then i tried to flash stock ftf with full wipe and there, update is available

Is she's ray rooted phone?
If yes. You can using titanium...
I think ur gf phone is already have ota update for ics 4.0.4.
You can using pccompanion to do that. you wouldnt lost ur root access...

yes but which ftf do i need just from 562 ray or 431?
i will try, but if i do something wrong she smased my brains out of my head,
but i know what im doig and ya`ll knows that, link me please to the Ray ftf please or page ;)
i dont like the ray, i love me Neo V :D

LOL! My cousin have a ray, i rooted it and i really dont like it.. neo v is better than ray for me.. :D
Before flashing it try to look at the rooting method used in mdpi devices.. it can preserve the data on your girl's ray.

she have now 4.0.4 but root is gone, but never mind, 4.0.3 was everytime get stuck, and now she will check it out if 4.0.4 is better without stuckness, and she told me yet if it get stuck i will root it.
so we shall see with her crappy ray xD

You can root it using .562 kernel, use doomlords ics rooting toolkit. Then reflash .431 kernel. Thats my problem with my arc s. Then after reading some threads, there and tried it, and install cwm with auto-installer by pvyparts.
Using jj hybrid now.. coz my bootloader is still locked

    Good fellas around here, i have some great news !!
    On 12-12-12 my mom gets a brain damage on her right side so she must go to a hospital and after that to a revalidation center, so it was a hard time for me to keep my head up, but i did that and keeps moving on also here, well yesterday i get a phone call from the doc that was helping her, and he told me, Son good news, you mom goes to home, she did it well and recovered good, only her speech must be better but you can understand her, but for that it need some time but its gonna be alright, i was shocked and happy and cried as a lil kid, finally my mom goes to home:)

    I do remeber that your first ROM was just a release of Wolfbreaks GB ROM for the x10 that you made a few UOT kitchen changes to (and maybe a few buildprop changes as well) and you had to withdraw that rom...


    Listen folks. Android is open source.....everything everyone does is open to use, all you have to do is say thanks, and there is a button for that.
