If you do that, device ID will be GT-I9000 and search key won't work. If you can live with that, you good to go.
But not everyone here know that or this ROM. So I place a thread here, cappy users will know about this awesome ROM.

There is an error registered when I try to flash the ROM. Tried several times with no luck. Just the dead android cartoon on its back. Can't wait to get it working.

Do the Xposed app settings work? I've been waiting for something like this ever since using the MIUI permission manager.

The ROM is running smoothly. No lag while using apps. Minor lag when I push the device too hard. Like opening an app then closing it right away while bringing up the recent apps pane. AWESOME!!!

You can try to install without full wipe. But if you face some problems, then please give it a fresh install.
Tried this ROM. Looks awesome and no lag for the short while I used it.
I didn't even put in a SIM card but within 10 hours or so, the battery completely drains. May be it is the dark gmail app because that's the last app I installed. However, I don't switch on the WiFi all the time and so it may not be the gmail app also.
Anyone else having the same issue with batter?

Since not many ROMs are updated recently for our cappy, I decided to port an awesome Samsung Galaxy S I9000 ROM for our community.
All the hard work done by Aways. Thanks to him.
Disclaimer: I will only update this ROM when the ROM in Samsung Galaxy S I9000 box was updated. And I will update as soon as I have time.
Before installing this, please take your time to read the Original OP.
This ROM contains every features that the C-RoM Mix ROM offers but with some additional.

There's no competition moron, just devs working hard to give us great ROM's. This ROM has worked great for me. I was on the captivating ROM by Sephi but this ROM has been relatively problem free. Battery life is amazing and it comes with AOKP features. Only thing I have a problem with is setting the vibration pattern.
