[Q] Nexus S screen locking weirdness

Been noticing it on all variants of JB ROM: rasbean jelly, AOSP, OTA. When you lock the screen and expect it to turn off, it goes blank then flashes on just a sec before finally turning off for good. It doesn't matter how you lock it: could be using your power button, screen off and lock app, or the sleep button in notification widgets.

Any of you guys experienced this and figured out a way to solve it?

it happens all the time since the days of 4.0.4, the lockscreen flicker, there are ROMs out there with patches, and CNA doesn't have the problem, at least with my phone. it's absolutely normal, just a small software glitch, so nothing for you to worry about.
