I'm talking about the kernel only. The ROM likely has differences but probably shares a lot. The GPS update in JLS36C is exactly the same as the JSS15Q update, byte for byte.

Unfortunately there isn't update for the JLS36C user space.
I still hope someone will continue Queru's work. Merging different builds together is no fun.
The touch fw fixes since A038 are:
TouchScreen: update touch firmware to A042.

TouchScreen: Add 20ms delay after hw-reset to enter iap update mode.
to avoid unexpected retry command in firmware update mechanism.
Need to wait for 20 ms before starting communicate with touch IC for
boot-code initialization after the hw reset.
