Well the good thing now is that if something goes wrong we have a way of getting you back up and running since we have the fastboot files now:cool:
Just remember to backup first and you will be fine

***Wanna be sure your not going to boot loop? Make a backup and install the cwm on boot linked above. Commands are the same in recovery omitting 5&6 instead go to mounts and mount /system***
2 questions regarding your instructions:

  1. i did not see BlurContacts.apk in either attachement. did you intend to type BlurDialer.apk or is BlurContacts.apk missing?
  2. both attachments contain a SystemUI.apk and a framework-res.apk file, which one did you use to get the results in your pictures?
I've used/flashed my HTC devices many, many times, so i'm not new to the process. only new to the process as it relates to the Atrix2. thanks!

agreed, i see them too. :) i was referring to lfaber06's instructions for flashing the themes. he updated his post to refer to "BlueDialer.apk", vs "BlueContacts.apk". i wanted to make sure my understanding was clear so i don't have a "fubar" moment, lol.

@lfaber06 - you reference this link (http://xdaforums.com/show....php?t=1385283) in your OP in case someone has a bootloop. the instructions in the link uses a the RazrBootstrap apk and the RAZR-CWMOnBoot-Global-J.Y.Daddy.zip recovery. it also suggests we can reboot to CWM on every boot. although it's for the Razr are both files safe for us to us on the Atrix2? and, will it also allow us to boot to recovery on each reboot? thanks.

I know it claims to work on a different bootstrap. DO NOT USE THE RAZR BOOTSRTAP it works with our ATRIX2BOOTSRTAP use that. To boot into recovery using this script is sometimes requires a batter pull while the device is powered on.

just use this one
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1346977

i have tested, it works perfect. just keep the apk in your sd card, whenever you flash any rom, root it and install the apk then u can get to recovery.
thanks guys, i'm using that apk right now. however, i'm testing the on every reboot it will boot into recovery feature as described here. my understanding is that this will allow me to quickly recover from my Nan-backup "in case" i encounter a bootloop. or, is the recovery procedure to reflash the fbz, reroot, install the Atrix2BootStrap.apk and restore from a backup? apologize for all the questions, thanks.

I'm confused on the theme. I want to install the ICS Artic theme but it only has 3 of the 6 files to "push" (blurdialer, blurphone, & googlequicksearchbox are missing). Do I use the files from the other theme folder?
I think this was asked but not sure if it was answered already.

The dialer and phone are not themed in ics/artic. And remember with both theme's they are a wip.

thanks shady for the toggles and letting me use your theme. After installing boot will take approx 3-5 mins. Update superuser from the market.

I'm now aware of the issues, I will get a fix out asap but I am pressed for time. I do need to fix the issues with the buttons so that were all ready for the next version of the supercharged rom. Apparently this is not an isolated issue, it is a problem i have found in the updater script that does not properly set permission for the libraries associated to the physical buttons. Had I known about the issue I would not have released the rom. A note to some of you about PM's ask around I will respond asap, but when you demand something of me via PM, count your self out of future contact. I do this stuff for free and people demanding things just doesn't fly with me. Again, I am sorry about the button issues I didn't catch them until this morning.
