Have you tried this on Calk's rom yet? I didn't have the energy to read through that entire thread but I did notice that the GSIII accuweather is packed into this flash as well. Also, it's a good idea to make a backup before flashing this since it looks like it replaces some system apps. ;)

Haven't i warned you yet?
I'm laaaaaaaazy. I was hopng you'd tell me if out (IT!* stupid swype) works on calk's.
Lol. Works fine for me on my rom, and I am no calkulin. Unfortunately :(
Also, making a backup makes me cringe more than resets do these days, on top of that, I'm sure you have a backup already with system that can be "advance restor"ed
Double :p
As for roms, should work on any Samsung ICS. Phones, that's another story but i have still had 0 [zero] problems after hours of use.

Bluetooth car sync

I am even having trouble with Calkulins rom so I know there is something new, or something I am not doning right. I have installed a couple of ICS roms and it seems they all have trouble staying synced with my truck. I sync up fine but when I get out and come back to the truck they fail to re-sync. I have used the search function on this site but cannot find anything.

How did you make out? Good point, could be the pc. If you are using KIES, remove it and try installing the full Samsung Driver Suite : http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.c...342248/Sprint_d710_USB_Driver_v1_3_2360_0.exe
Try different usb ports or a different pc. Another easy thing to try is to boot into recovery, select mounts and storage, and pick one of the USB Mass Storage modes. This is a simple way to mount the SD's while in recovery so you can copy files (even if the ROM won't boot, it's pretty cool :)).

Turned out to be 2 bad cables oddly enough. Tried with a brand new cable and it works fine. So freaking weird.

That's what you get from borrowing the girlfriend's crackberry cable. :p

I've seen a couple of posts about connection issues with bluetooth and car/mobile bluetooth. I think it was Sfhub that posted to remove the pairing and re-pair the devices 'should' work. That's all I have for now. ;)

Edit: Try disabling bluetooth when you step away from the vehicle and turning it back on when you get back?

I did remove and repair with Ford sync but the same results. I like the auto syncmuch more than depending on myself to turn on and off bluetooth ;-) I went back to gingerbread for now.

For some reason I was thinking Team Rogue didn't want their recovery in ICS kernels ... Am I wrong there?

I'm not complaining though, that is my fav recovery! I'm down with Calk getting it into his rom.

    Notes about Battery Saver script

Can be used with any kernels that have init.d support

It completely eliminates the need for an application to set CPU speeds or profiles
Easily customizable if you use a text editor(scripts located in /system/etc/init.d)
If SetCPU, Overclock Widget, Android Overclock or QuickClock Advanced Overclock are detected, the script is ignored, so it will not affect them
Awake tweak will speed up the CPU to max speed for 5 secs after waking up to eliminate any lag while unlocking, etc, then it will return to the profiles

    Preset profiles are:
    1.2GHz - 100-85%
    1.0GHz - 84-0%

Important Notes - Due to how this ROM is setup, a wipe is recommended BEFORE flashing if coming from another ROM(use FORMAT ALL attached)

You must have a custom recovery to flash this ROM

If your are updating, then nothing extra is needed during flashing as the update script wipes what is needed, unless other wise stated in the change log

Be sure to do a backup before flashing and read the change log

    Previous ROM versions

Modems - Zip's must be flashed through a CWM based recovery & Tar's must be flashed through the PHONE option in Odin
