Hey all, im trying to restore my Boost moto G back to stock, having some trouble. All i have is xubuntu right now, and well, long story short.

first thing i did when i got the phone was unlock it and flash slimkat, well, i was having data connection problems so i thought id try flashing back to stock, I used the xml files from http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2542219&page=49. the first 5 commands worked then this happened.

root@andro-Aspire:/home/andro/SDK/platform-tools# sudo /home/andro/SDK/platform-tools/fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk1

target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes

erasing 'system'...

(bootloader) Permission denied
FAILED (remote failure)
finished. total time: 0.030s
root@andro-Aspire:/home/andro/SDK/platform-tools#

i have no idea what to do, everything usually works, even on my nexus 7, and for some reason on the moto G i have to "sudo su" then put in the full paths to platform-tools to get any commands to work, please if anyone has any idea id really appreciate the help

EDIT: Figured something out
