Dear xylo

Please guide to me how to 3g data force set as 3g not working on aokp build 35 as same sim working on 3g data on galaxy y, please help

I think also startup-tweaks could cause misbehave like that? For example sysctl. I don't know, just guessing. However I haven't encountered problems like that, but my cpu settings are default.

So, I suggest trying disabling startup-tweaks and see if that helps.

I'm using startup tweaks and haven't had an issue since installing se. I am not on 35. I keep the min memory at 100 and limit background apps to 3. Other than heavy batt drain when I'm using the phone it's a fairly solid rom. One thing i did notice tonight was the screen failed to dim automatically when I went to a dark area until I turned auto dim off and back on. Might be a fluke ...or maybe part of the high drain issue.
Fwiw I don't see any correlation to wifi and high drain. I'm on wifi now and the drain is -295 -409mA. I've actually seen it much higher on 3g.

The exact same thing happens with me and I'm guessing with everyone else. Its a slight animation glitch and something I only notice in relation to the settings and a few apps here and there.

Don't think its big enough an issue to warrant all u have done to fix it though. Remember, these are still early days for hwa ics on the hd2

The problem DOES NOT exist in these CyanogenMod 9 Nightlies. (with hwa)

It looks like what's causing the glitch is that the window animation is missing the fade out, where the UI element fades to transparent as it scales down/away.

I have a strange problem, i used xylo rom from first relase (tosti) but yestarday my phone freeze every 5 minutes.
I tried task29 reinstalling aokp and other ics roms but phone boots and crash on first lockacreen, i noticed that the backside cover is very very hot, i thinked that my phone was broked, but installing a gb rom works

I also have freezes. Very often the phone gets to sleep and that black screen does not unfreeze. The phone may get warm at charging it and browsing the Inet at once. And wired tether 1.4 freezes the phone, tried it multiple times. (though it worked fine on the se version).
As for good things, I liked nova launcher. it's is very nice, I even got used to it already. Camera works fine. Everything is nice but freezes and the absence of tethering.

Here is the same :-( Freezes with black screen. The Market do not work, when I changed density from 240 dpi to other dpi :-(

I don't know what to do anymore. I am running lateest rom from this thread and I still have reboots.... I have tried ALL suggestions from here and other places I was told to look and ask, also went to a thread where a an admin told me to go cause this is wrong place and still nothing. I have changed partition size to checking to make sure contacts are not bend. I even bought new battery and wall charger .. I'm very desperate now and would like to find a solution.. please any help would be great..

Are you on Magldr or Clk

Best is to do a clean install, the 3 Wipes and delete on the Sdcard folders from older android installation...

for my feeling, Milestone 5 SE is better than build 35

but next version should be better

I think you were talking to me.... I'm using clk, I don't like having to connect my phone to laptop cause I kinda put it up cause I use my tablet now. I do all 3 wipes and I think I deleted files from SD card. I have used hd2 tool and did a task29 and still same problem.

I think most of us facing such an issues too, and i don't think change density will fix them all.

the best is do a clean install task 29, wipe everything
it will be better after installation

Wipe cache -> reinstall rom -> backup data on sd card -> go to clockworkmod -> advanced -> partition sd(choose ext size 1024m or anything that you feel is appropriate) -> swap size 0m -> install link2sd from the market -> Open link2sd -> windows button -> settings -> autolink apps. You can also turn off auto link notification if you want to. I turned it off as it gets kind of irritating .

Also, link all your current apps to your sd using it: Windows button -> Multiselect -> select all -> actions -> create link.

Forgot to change it in the changelog... for now you will need a dorimanx based kernel for that functionality untill kernel devs port it to tytungs base...

I wanna stick to one ICS rom that allows me to play games without freezing.my phone used to freeze after 10 mins of gaming on tytung's rom.just wanna know if this rom has that problem or not.so that I can stick to it
