I'm running the new multitouch build. It's definitely getting better. I couldn't do anything but jump in Temple Run before, and now it's working a lot better. It seems like a lot my swipes are still being registered incorrectly though. For example, swiping up should jump but it makes me slide instead and vice versa.
Edit: This happens in combination with the "multitouch build" and aeroevan's v9 kernel. I haven't tried the stock kernel or any other games.

Auto brightness still doesn't seem to work. Every time you unlock the brightness locks at the brightness applies upon turning screen on

Temple Run still doesn't work for me. Any specific apps I can see the multi-touch fixes in action?

I just tested with the "Pointer Locataion" test in Dev Tools. That seems to register both touches and doesn't release the first touch when the second is lifted. I'm not sure what other bugs there might be, but I couldn't find any using that app.

Anyone who still can't play games such as Temple Run, are you guys doing a full wipe or just dalvic cache and /cache???

I ask this because this could cause a lot of confusion. I still haven't had time to flash this, but if someone who did a full wipe (wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvic cache, and format system) can reply and inform us your results.

People that only did partial wipes let us know your results also. I already am seeing some mixed results.

I've only been doing Cache and Dalvik wipes when going from one of Aero's CM9 roms to the next. Since Its been a few builds since I've been doing this, I'll probably do a clean install on the next build.
So far though, I haven't really experienced anything weird.
I first do the Cache and Dalvik wipe in 4ext recovery, then flash the rom, the latest gapps (3-17), Ics Reloaded 1.93b, the agps patch and finally Aero's V9 kernel. Reboot and enjoy.
This may not work for everyone, and isn't the recommended way, but I've been known to not always follow the rules :D

The apps I had previously seen the largest issues in were IGunZombie, Dungeon Hunter 3, and Cartoon Wars: Gunner. Essentially any app where you had two fingers on the screen at the same time.

The description of the 1st point not releasing when my second finger remained on the screen is a very accurate description of what I was seeing.

Very glad to see that this bug is finally being addressed. As soon as someone can work it out, I'm going ICS as my daily :)

OK so I got temple run working, but it doesn't always register the swipes correctly. This is the first ics build that I could even get into the game, so the fact that I can even play it is an achievement. Great work by Aerovan. I didn't do a full wipe by the way..just cache and dalvik. Everything is running smooth, so you guys should be ok doing the same.

The built in wifi tether worked for me the few times I tried it, I mostly use the built in USB tethering when I need to and that works fine.

Yea, the native wifi tether works flawlessly for me. I use it all the time to display android tablets to my customers at my work. :D
And no, Verizon can't tell that your using it without their knowledge so you don't have to worry about being charged for using it. Although I have herd mixed views on this subject, but I can't see how Verizon could tell since the phone is acting as a router and does not report the ips the phone assigns to other devices. Its just like having a router hooked up to your internet providers modem. Access to the internet from connected devices is governed by the router which is receiving the service through one dynamic ip from your provider. Can they tell if theirs more traffic then normal? Yea prob, but nothing they're really ganna look into unless you abuse it A LOT. Lol

Anyone know where I can find the ringtones and alarm sounds that were taken out of the last two releases?
The specific ring tone I am looking for is "digital phone" and the alarm is "beep-beep-beep"

Hi, I decided to start an official post here on XDA too since the ICS thread over in general is getting rather large.

    Downloads:
    ROM:
    GApps:
    Directions:
    1. Wipe Data, Cache, and system
    2. Flash the ROM
    3. Flash GApps
    4. Reboot into the system (first boot will take several minutes)

If you are having issues flashing, try a CM9 based CWM:

    What's Currently Broken:
    • Face unlock may not work until FFC has been used in the Camera app.
    • Market download issues: su, and then killall drmserver in the terminal (needs to be done after each reboot if you are still having issues)
    • ... Let me know what else :)

If you like what I do, hit thanks or donate to a poor college student :)

So I got jellybean/CM10 to build, but there are still lots of issues (no audio, softlights, or sensors). But 3G and GPS and most other things seemed to work.

    Kxqee.png

I'm still really busy with other things, but jellybean will definitely happen for our phone :)

EDIT: I'm uploading the build to a cm10 folder in my goo.im hosting, but you need to rm camera.msm7x30.so, lights.vivow.so, and sensors.vivow.so in /system/lib/hw/ for it to boot.

Here are some gapps that worked for me:
    http://goo.im/apps/teamgummy/gapps-4.1.1-Kejar31-20120713.zip

And my upload will be in http://goo.im/devs/aeroevan/cm10/ but it will take about an hour to finish uploading...

Hopefully they release source soon. I saw HTC one got source release.

That still isn't for our device :(

I'm working on using the new camera blobs, but even those can't just be dropped in. I had to add a few camera parameters in frameworks/base but the preview isn't starting... http://pastebin.com/ZsxsGHcm and the camera app crashes :(

I have a few ideas, but I had a phone interview today (which went well) so I couldn't break my phone ;)

I've also been working on getting low power audio (LPA) working, but there are still a few bugs there too.

I just sync'd and am doing a fresh build now, but don't expect any magic :)
There were a few display hal updates, but nothing too big.

Are we going to see anything done with Jelly bean and this rom?

I'll definitely do builds once I get a chance, but I've been really busy lately :(
