Go to the settings tab. Choose "switch superuser app", then "Continue". Then reboot before going to the other superuser app and installing its binaries..

ok so I have to do that.. than reboot to recovery, flash ROM gapps and kernel, boot and open superuser app and update it?

SuperSU was preinstalled on earlier versions of AOKP. It is no longer included. You shouldn't have to do anything to remove it. Flashing the new build will just replace it with Koush's.
*unless you somehow removed the System version of supersu and are running a market version on /data/

Are these that you mentioned for Mako? I've downloaded the 13th from this afternoon... Is it the same as the OP?

I installed the market version for use with a older build. How do I get rid of it and use the built in one? I don't see a uninstall with in the app nor a option in TB as previously mentioned. Is it safe to just delete the apk from /data/app/ ?

I've installed supersu with the toolkit at the beginning, when I did the root, unlock BT and Cwm flash.. :/

Interesting..I'll have to keep an eye out for this because I JUST flashed the new build. I have Push Notification Fixer installed too. Do you guys have your interval set to 5 minutes?

I changed my kernel to Montley b48 and the notifications seems to be back... I think all is on kernel and not in rom... ANd yes, I have set my interval on 5 second in both, phone data and wifi.

Before I was running the one who cames with the Rom.. Faux maybe? But now with b48 seems to work fine...
Nandroid back up, test out camera/gallery with fresh/clean install and report back. Problem could be related to the non-stock kernel.

164These are unofficial AOKP builds. Please do not post in official AOKP threads with bugs or negative experiences possibly specific to these builds.
I've compiled AOKP using Steve Spear's Project Unicorn Butter (PUB) optimizations for the following devices:
HTC One (GSM) - m7ul
Nexus 4 - mako
Nexus 10 - manta
Galaxy Nexus GSM - maguro
Galaxy Nexus CDMA - toro
I own and test the first four devices to ensure the builds are functional prior to uploading. Verizon Galaxy Nexus is completely untested, but there is no reason I can think of that it would not work if the maguro build does.
These builds contain all the same features as mainline AOKP, but with compiler, ARM architecture, and additional optimizations offered by PUB.
I will continue to sync and build new versions whenever there are major AOKP updates, or they release a new milestone or stable build.
The installation instructions are straightforward:
1. Download build for your device
2. Download latest gapps here: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip
3. Install both using TWRP or CWR (ROM, then GAPPS)
4. Wipe cache and dalvik (if coming from AOKP) / Factory Reset (if from another ROM)
5. Toggle your swagger on
