Usually using TWRP we take backup .. split using mktool .. replace zImage and repack again using mktool

Ok guys I hv a question
What if u had a windows tool (linux later as I am learning Java)which has the options to debloat
I mean I hv made a recovery flashable zip to remove bloat for this device but what if u can debloat a stock odexed or cooked rom before even flashing?
All thay needs to be done is drop the rom in one folder...fire up the tool...setup a working folder....debloat and then build the debloated rom by a click of a button eh?
Really liking Sammy Deluxe ?

First. Your debloater tool rocks. Good job on it.
I can't speak for anybody else, but I prefer the method with the fewest steps... less chance for user error. You can't much simpler than flashing a zip and choosing what you want to remove via the aroma installer. Then again, I may be a little biased because I work off a <cough>mac<cough>.
The windows method would probably be a better tool for the flashaholic who likes to keep every ROM on his phone. Your tool would dramatically reduce the ROM file size.
Does the windows tool work on ROMs that use the Aroma installer?
i can understand your issue and true, the one with fewer steps is the one most use
And your second point about rom size is also very true
About whether it works on roms with aroma? the good thing is that once u extract the rom the boot.img(kernel) and meta-inf folder(one with aroma and updater scrip) are untouched. Only system/* gets touched and once debloat is over all the three folders(well 2 folders and one img in stock rom..can be more on cooked rom)get zipped so it doesnt touch aroma so it should work
already made this tool for s5
Ya bro i also checked deadly venom but i dont think its really battery efficiant...

If you are on 4.3 ( like you never took the NB1 update), then you don't need to Odin anything to fully use SS. Users who updated to the NB1 bootloader had to Odin the MK2 kernel, and boot.img to fully use SS because it wasn't mounting /system. That was until Hashcode gave us the update.
Thanks. The fact that it will work on both types of ROMS (aroma and not aroma), keeps it easy. Less for Users to worry about.
If you need another tester, shoot me a PM. I have a windows desktop, as well.
ive had great battery life. beter than stock. I think was has helped tho is a combination of using a different launcher... freezing the 2 TW launchers... using Greenify to hibernate not in use apps and setting some CPU profiles at certain battery levels in Rom Toolbox...
